Dr. Jaimeson Hofkes and Dr. Vivian Yin, a well-regarded husband-and-wife dental team, will help make you and your family more comfortable than you ever thought possible. Both doctors received their dental degrees from USC's Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Hofkes went on to study at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, and Dr. Yin trained at Cornell University's Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.
In order to better serve their patients, both doctors also received advanced training at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. When not in the office, both doctors love spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and watching the Green Bay Packers. They both treasure the opportunity to provide dental care to veterans and other underserved communities.

Hands down, the best dental practice I’ve found in my 20 year search. The office is clean and employees the most up to date technology and techniques. The Drs are both very skilled and masters of their crafts. The entire (and I mean every one of them) staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional in every sense of the word. I have crazy dental anxiety and have tried several of the so cal area dentists. These guys are the best!!

If I can give 10 stars to every staff member and Dr that helped me Monday morning, I would gladly award it to them. Starting from the receptionist, the dental assistant all the way to Dr Hofkes himself. I showed up Mon morning feeling like someone is drilling into my jaw and ears. I literally was in tears and a hot mess when I showed up. 😭.
Naomi at the front desk listened to me patiently and checked me in as quickly as she can humanly possible. Then I was quickly called in to get my x-ray and other pre dental examination as I have never been in this office.

In love! The staff and Dr. Yin were all so friendly and efficient! No long waits! Appointment times were convenient and accommodating for back to back days! High-tech dental exam, cleaning and diagnosis of a healthy dental plan made made me feel welcomed and grateful I chose them! Military-friendly!!

You’ll love it here! It’s clean, modern, inviting and the staff is very friendly. I was very nervous because I have dentist anxiety from bad childhood experiences. Well Dr Yin made me feel comfortable, she explained everything step by step and her hand is the most gentle hand I have ever felt. Her numbing technique is flawless! I barely felt a little pinch before it was all numb. Her assistant Leslie was so nice and knowledgeable. When my exam was over Dr Yin explained everything very throughly and made sure she answered all my concerns. She focused on the important problems about my teeth

I have been a patient for Center Plaza Dentistry for over 3 years. Found them on Yelp. Reviews were good, but my experience meeting Dr. Yin and staff. She’s very sweet and gentle touch in her craft. I loved the new technology offered in office , I decided to go with my Invisalign there. Dr. Yin takes pride in her craft to dentistry and my outcome was amazingly beautiful. Her cleanings are much more detailed then the average local dentist. She loves her work and is very through in doing it. I highly recommend this local dentistry, you will be in good hands with a much updated tech experience.

I came to this office for the first time to have a cleaning and check up and have a few cavities filled. I can definitely write this review with a happy heart knowing that my experience will encourage and motivate someone to make the right decision and make an appointment with Center Plaza for their dental needs because believe me , they will do more than take care of you, they will go above and beyond to make every aspect of your visit as if you were also at a Spa! What a pleasure it is to recommend Center Plaza Dentistry, the office is a beautiful, clean, orderly practice with the latest technology in Dentistry Medicine and convenient to my house. I first met Dr Yin(April 2018) when I cracked a previously filled wisdom tooth back in April/2018. My family and I had moved into this area of Los Alamitos in 2016 and at this time I was still driving 17 miles north for continued visits with my previous Dentist until he retired at the end of 2017. A very worrisome position to be in when you have been with the same Dentist for almost 20 yrs.
