Kim is a third-generation floral designer, following in the footsteps of her mother, great aunts, and her father who is a landscape designer. Born and raised in Upstate New York in an area that annually celebrates lilac trees, Kim Starr Wise developed an appreciation for nature at a young age. Kim is a third generation floral designer her mother and great aunts, and her father who is a landscape designer; it's only natural that she follow in their footsteps.

We use fresh floral arrangements, curated linens, custom lighting and uncommon objects to create a world just for you, crafted especially for your event.

Through thorough planning and meticulous floral design, we will work with you to make your corporate event run (and look) as seamless as your business does. In 2013, we crafted giant walls of fresh boxwood and more for the CBS NFL Awards show.

My wife and I were married in New Orleans on December 11, 2021. KSW and her team handled floral and design for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception and farewell brunch. All events were perfectly executed and beautiful beyond our imagination. This was a destination wedding and the communication and planning from afar was smooth and consistent with us and the team from beginning to end. While their work speaks for itself, I would recommend KSW to anyone having a wedding or event, any style and any budget.

On 10/15 I hired Kim Star Wise florist to provide flowers for my son's rehearsal dinner at Antoines.I never used her, but the company ratings and the website appeared to look good. Don't be fooled.
I was extremely disappointed! You as a possible customer, can be the judge. I am proving the invoice, a photo and the correspondence with Kim after the event.
I must say I do not have any complaint on the small bouquets, but a huge disappoint on the garland. In an email dated 9/30 I requested a "garland with dark green foliage with tiny white flowers that make a WOW statement". I was charged, just

I am native to New Orleans but located in a different area at the moment. I had a small emergency and was looking for a specific arrangement for a special little girls birthday. I needed it delivered to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, and surprisingly not many shops delivers there. To my surprise, after all the no’s I received this morning, this shop did! I explained to the florist that this little girls favorite color is rose gold. I gave my idea of what rose gold could look like with a flower and she worked a miracle!! She DELIVERED!!! Have ordered twice in the last month. Once for Mother’s Day and again for my wife’s birthday.
Clearly, followed my instructions and always went beyond. The birthday arrangement nearly knocked my wife over. It was made of a dozen yellow roses and a dozen white peonies, with added complimentary pieces, and delivered on time in a nice vase. Thank you so much.

Kim and her talented team were just absolutely AMAZING! I know nothing about flowers and arrangements and I am absolutely glad that I left that in their hands. Our consultation included us talking about themes, likes/dislikes, colors, etc. I was a little embarrassed because I really didn't have any sort of vision in mind, but the team did a wonderful job guiding me through it and the results were just gorgeous. I’m about to save you weeks of research: stop looking -- you’ve found the best! Kim Starr and her team are outrageously talented. We booked them for our wedding last March and couldn’t be happier with the decision. Their arrangements are unique, jaw-dropping, inspiring and elevate your venue. I’m sure you may be thinking “Can flowers really do all that.” Trust me. They do. Especially when you hire Kim. She’s like a flower artist that paints the scene of your wedding. Kim and her team were absolutely amazing! We gave them the challenge of Tropical flowers and wanted something no one has ever seen before. She was able to create a hanging cake structure covered in tropical leaves, a bird of paradise chandelier, and a massive display on top of an ice sculpture. She managed to do all of these eye catching designs on top of all of the other flowers and keep it within my fathers very strict budget.It has now been 3 months later and our guests are still talking about our flowers.
