Don hecker is literally a scam artist. I bonded out of jail and hired Mr hecker as my defense attorney. After meeting with him he told me the gamelan for the defense which sounded great. After paying for Mr heckers services upfront in full.... he did absolutely nothing. He didn't research any details of my case.... he didn't contact me about my case... all he did was reset me 3 times... when the judge wasn't having anymore resets all Mr hecker did was say psi or trial. Now it's 2 days before my psi hearing and still nothing from Mr hecker who don't even have a copy of my psi report which he is

I can’t understand these bad reviews on Mr. Hecker. His rate is very very low compared to other lawyers. He knows everyone in both Harris County and Fort Bend County. It’s your job to get your case dismissed. For the little money he charges, you go and do your own investigations and make witnesses available. Make it easy for him to complete your case. Hasn't lived up to promises made at the time of hire. Called every Sunday until hired then couldn't find the time to call back and be bothered with the details needed to clear my stepson.
