Highland Clinic began as the Highland Clinic Sanitarium in 1917. We opened our doors at 1006 Highland Avenue in Shreveport, fulfilling the vision of J.A. Hendrick, MD. Most of the original physicians were experienced in general practice, with an interest or training in some particular area of medicine.

Co-payments, coinsurance, and/or deductibles are due at the time of service. In most cases, the amount you owe will be listed on your insurance card, but, there still may be additional deductible and/or coinsurance amounts. We will estimate the amount you owe based on information we receive from your insurance company.

Went to ER sat in waiting along time it was the weekend there was only 2 other people. Finally got a doctor to see me. Had to be transfered because of poor staffing and no nuerologist on weekends all i can say is try not to get sick on weekends and after 2:00pm weekdays most doctors and nurses and specialists are at home at those times and you are left with out of state doctors and nurse groups which is basically the cold wind.

I was having knee pains. I went to see a certain orthopedic physician. He told me that he could do anything for me. Didn’t prescribe me anything. I look at my statement and it says that he did. I want to file a formal complaint but their website is so outdated and sorry. Like never in my life have I felt so defeated. I need to go to Dr about my hands but from the horrible experience I’m afraid to see anything orthopedic specialist. I rather stay in pain then go back to that dark cold placed.
