I am a Seattle based portrait and wedding photographer with nearly 20 years in business, and I love nothing more than a PNW or destination wedding. My theory on photographing people (and in life!) is - HAVE FUN! When you are having a great time, you'll soon forget you are in front of the camera, giving me the opportunity to capture you in your happiest times!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with Barbie (and company). She has exceptional attention to detail regarding what she offers, the presentation of pictures, the book, etc. I am not a person that likes attention on myself and she made me, my family and husband feel so comfortable. I am beyond grateful that I have the most beautiful pictures to look at and to help me remember one of the best days of my life. I cannot recommend Barbie Hull enough!!

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience working with Barbie on our wedding day. From the first pictures we saw of her work - we knew our wedding memories were in good hands. Her photographs of our wedding are intimate, unique and absolutely beautiful. She walked us through all of our shots and made the whole process and day enjoyable for everyone. Even though it was raining through half of the day, he took advantage of every moment to get beautiful shots that never would have been possible on a sunny day. Our friends and family absolutely

My photographer, my friend. Barbie is a dream!!!!! She made posing for all of the awkward family wedding photos seem natural. I laughed the entire day! Her and Chris went the extra mile and made sure that we were comfortable and having fun from start to finish. Most people I meet tell me it takes months to get the photos back from their weddings....not with Barbie Hull!!! It was incredibly quick! We LOVE this gal!

Barbie is such an incredible photographer and some how she is an even better person! I feel very uncomfortable in front of the camera and this lady knows how to bring out the best in me. When you meet her you will understand.... she is hilarious and full of all kinds of fun facts. Her photographs are a reflection of all her talents and passion for loving what she does. It's no secret- I'm a photographer too and hate getting my picture taken. I asked Barbie to photograph me for a very special series of commercial portrait images, and not only did we have THE FUNNEST time, but the images were absolutely wonderful: technically, aesthetically, AND artistically. She helped me to quickly get over my nervousness, which is KEY to being a portrait photographer (thanks Barbie!). She's provided me with a dynamic set of images that really illustrate my brand and personality, and I'm proud to plaster them all over the internet :). She rocks!

Barbie photographed our wedding on an Argosy Cruise for 4 hours. She is very talented and an absolute joy to work with. Hands down, the best decision for a photographer!

Fabulous, fabulous pictures!! I know enough about photography to know how hard it is to get great candids of individuals, small groups, and large groups, and Barbie does all 3 incredibly well. Artistic, crisp, amazing. I live and work in Boston and our company needed a photographer in Seattle so we were put in touch with Barbie, and I am SO grateful to her for the pictures she captured of our event. Our event was a business gathering but I imagine her pictures of weddings would be equally, if not more, spectacular. Barbie, thank you!!!

We recently hired Barbie to shoot our wedding up in Seattle (we live in SF, but are native Seattleites) and could not have been happier with our choice. When we looked for vendors for the big day, we wanted to work with people we felt comfortable with. Particularly because the two of us are totes awkward in front of a camera.

Just another top review for the wonderful Barbie Hull! She recently did our wedding this summer, as well as the engagement photos the fall before. And even though my husband and myself are not naturally photogenic - you can't tell that from the pictures! Barbie is light and fun to have around throughout the whole day and really captures great candid moments as well as all the requisite formal pictures. If you're the bride, she'll fit right in with your gal pals.

Barbie is the BEST! She has great energy and makes you feel relaxed and comfy.

AMAZING!!! Barbie is amazing!!! Barbie came to me highly recommened by my wedding planner Megan, and I have no regrets. She took hundreds and hundreds of amazing pictures of our engagement and wedding. The day goes by in such a blur and I am so thankful for what Barbie has given us back in photos to treasure for the rest of our lives.

My husband and I had the great fortune of working with two fabulous photographers the day of our wedding, and Barbie was an outstanding part of that equation.
We immediately felt at ease with Barbie. Her amazing eye for detail, willingness to go the extra mile (hauling my train and flowers over a very wobbly deck to be sure we got the picture we wanted) and easy sense of humor made her an absolute delight.
We spent some of the best moments of the wedding under the fireworks with Barbie by our side. Barbie's ability to be present and available when you need her coupled

I recently had family photos and head shots taken by Barbie. We had a great experience (she is wonderful with children) and she made us completely comfortable. She knew of my phobia about having my head shot taken and it didn't phase her at all. I was almost afraid to tell her that i was self conscious for fear she may act differently...but she completely understood and made me feel comfortable and used humor to get me through it.
My husband and son had a great time during the photo shoot as well and she captured some beautiful moments of my family that we will treasure.
