Did you know roughly 51% of adults have gingivitis. What makes this worse is that most of them don't even know. That means almost everyone around you has some form of irritation or inflammation in their gums. In most cases, it's probably light, but anyone with gingivitis is at an increased risk of gum disease.
At Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialists, we believe in a holistic approach to dentistry because we know how even the slightest dental issue can impact your overall health. How? Studies have linked gum disease to a wide array of serious conditions. Oral bacteria can spread to your bloodstream and attach to cells around your body, causing heart disease, strokes, and even diabetes.

Services
Younger smiles often require special attention, and Dr. Corbet Ellison, our Pediatric Dentist, is ready to address their needs with specialized pediatric care. Unlike a general family dentist, a pediatric dentist has received three years of formal training beyond dental school to address the needs of juvenile patients.
Did you know about 51% of people over the age of 20 have gingivitis? Worse than that, they don't even know it. Practically everyone has some form of gingivitis and aren't aware of the impact that it can have on their lives. People have become so accustomed to gingivitis that they don't think of it as a serious issue.
Your oral health impacts your overall health more than you might know. In fact, tooth decay and gum disease have been linked with serious conditions like diabetes and heart disease. You might even be surprised to learn that diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases among children, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In life, we never really know what might happen. Some of us go through life with no major accidents or troubles while others require the skills of an oral surgery specialist. Most commonly, people relate oral surgery with wisdom teeth extractions and dental implants. However, oral surgeons, like our specialist Dr. Laerrol Johnson, are specially trained to manage conditions related to the jaw, teeth, mouth, and face.
Not all of us were born with the genetics for a perfect smile. However, this doesn't mean you have to be stuck with crooked teeth or gaps. Dr. Stephanie Wilson, the Pearland orthodontics specialist at our dental office, can help to guide you on your journey to a straight smile. It's not always easy to go through life with crowded teeth or an abnormal bite.

My son was schedule at 9:00 and I was scheduled at 10:00. My son appt ended before 9:30 and instead of me been seen right after him another patient that came in After we did was seen before me. I went a dropped my son to school and came back for my appt at 10:00. When I asked I was told the other pt was a last minute schedule and that because of covid pts are been schedule every hr. So I don't understand if my son was scheduled at 9 and me at 10:00 how the other pt was scheduled in between us?

I never write reviews but with this experience I had too. I went to Shadow Creek Dental and saw Dr. Mehdizadchs, i was told i had 12 cavities (Sent me into total shock and panic and confusion) and needed 12 Crowns! I was told i had DRY MOUTH which is caused by Diabetes or possible side effects of medication. He told me i needed to go to my doctor to check if i was diabetic because he was almost sure it was caused by something medical. I was in a panic until i was able to see my doctor who told me i was not diabetic. Made appointment with another dentist to get 2nd opinion who requested my x rays

Extremely dissatisfied with how I was treated with concerns I had leaving my 3 year old alone while being examined. Definitely not ok to leave a toddler alone in a room to get examined/work done. Policy or not I was a parent with a concern and they treated me very poorly because of my concerns. The receptionist told dental assistant to release me as a patient because I wasn’t willing to leave my 3 year old alone with strangers! My son is 3 years old not 18? So I canceled appointment and my future appointment I had with my other child and both ladies talking to me could care less about my concerns

Great dentistry. They have great customer service, low wait time and make you feel comfortable. I have gone to various dentists before and this time it was different, they went into detail on everything going on with my teeth, they explained everything and how to prevent it. After this quick, in depth dentist visit I feel like a hygienist. They truly care about their patients. I would highly recommend!!

My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted,
she was very nervous. Shadow Creek was very compassionate to (her) every concern, and needs, and explained to us the pre/post surgery process.
Crystal was amazing at answering my questions and concerns and she was extremely professional as well as compassionate. The entire staff was wonderful!

While checking in for my procedure I was told my credit card was declined. After dealing with the bank in a panic for 5 minutes the lady running my card finally acknowledged she had done it wrong and when she did it correctly my card went through. That should have been a sign of things to come. I was then escorted back. My blood pressure was taken, a bib was put on and the television tuned to an animal show. I sat there for 45 minutes before the doctor even came in to acknowledge my presence. When we finally began the procedure the lack of a working relationship between the periodontitis and her

Great experience 😍 Everyone is very nice and they make the kids feel nice and relaxed. They explain everything to them so they know exactly what they are doing so they won't be scared. They get to watch a movie while they are working on them and everyone is always nice and making sure you always get to have a good experience at the doctors . Love the doctors here. We have been coming for years and I wouldn't change anything about them. Always a joy to see them.

Front office staff is very prompt and friendly.
Amy is by far the best dental hygienist I’ve ever encountered. Very friendly and knowledgeable, plus she always provides me with essential dental goodies. :-)
Dr. M is awesome as well, he ensured I knew and understood any procedures being performed, very patient.
My kids also go here, the children staff is just as awesome!

The staff and doctor were very friendly and professional prior to and during my operation. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff after experiencing their complete lack of professionalism and courtesy during the billing process.
Trouble first started when they billed me up front, out of pocket for the anesthesia for my wisdom teeth extraction. Unknown to me at the time, they should NOT be doing this since they are a preferred client for my insurance company. They then incorrectly billed my insurance for the anesthesia at $0, which means they did not receive payment from Delta

I get my teeth cleaned regularly. Like clockwork. I struggle with periodontal disease, and must stay on top of it. Recently, I had to find a new dentist (after 7 years), as my last dentist stopped taking my insurance a week before my cleaning appt. I made an appointment with Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialists since it's close to work and is in my network. I waited a month to get in. When I got there they couldn't see me because they were not listed on my insurance as my dentist. I had to call the company, change the dentist, then wait another month to be seen. FINALLY, I get there
