At Woodinville Family Preschool, we strive to educate and support families in a way that is meaningful to both parents and children, while respecting who they are as individuals and where they are in their parenting journey and in their developmental growth. We are both a parenting education program and a cooperative preschool, with classes designed to engage children from birth through Pre-K.

Woodinville Family Preschool is one of several cooperative preschools affiliated with the Shoreline Community College Parenting Education Program. We have achieved the rigorous accreditation standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1995 and the certification standards of Nature Explore since 2011.
Services
Founded in 1968, Woodinville Family Preschool is a cooperative venture offering state of the art early learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as solid education and support for their parents. Our cooperative preschool provides a unique opportunity for educators, parents, and children to engage together in an enriching, developmentally appropriate, and playful environment.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) sets forth the position that a high quality early childhood program provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families.
Parents are an integral part of their child's education at Woodinville Family Preschool. Their enthusiasm for preschool activities inspires their child's curiosity and love of learning, and their sharing in this developmental adventure builds an unparalleled parent-child bond.

Because we believe that parents cannot buy this personal commitment to their child's education, our program requires that parents or legal guardians enroll as the on-going classroom participants.Participate in parenting education discussions lead by a parent educator during class time. Clean the school once a year or hire the preschool cleaning service to do this job for you.**.
Please contact our registrar for details (Please include your phone number in case we have trouble reaching you by email.) A class observation or attendance at a preschool open house is required prior to registration. For a class observation we ask that you please make child care arrangements for your child, as our insurance policy does not allow children in the classroom who are not enrolled in the class.
