NCP has been diligently planning for the upcoming school year. We have worked with parents, our sponsoring college and are following government agencies to formulate a plan focused on safety for students, parents and staff. We are grateful for the flexibility of our staff and our NCP community as we all navigate this ever-changing situation.
We are a cooperative community of families dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate school environment where children and families learn and grow together. We know that preschool encompasses learning on social, emotional, intellectual, and physical levels. We value play, experimentation, energy and compassion.

Services
This class is not being offered for the 2021-2022 school year; please contact our registrar if you are interested in the 2022-2023 school year or are interested in our Outdoor Class, which includes children ages 1-2. Outdoor Class, ages 6 months- 5 years: F, 1 PM until no later than 3 PM*, $60 for the first child, $30 per additional sibling over 6 months of age.
Our Inchworms class, or 1-2's, is our youngest class at NCP. Often, this is a child's first preschool experience. Both the child and their caregiver attend this once weekly class. Our 1-2's class follows our general curriculum, with timing and activities adjusted for our youngest learners. Learning is child-led, with each child selecting his/her preferred activity during "free choice."
In our Caterpillars, or 2-3's class, children begin to grow their independence. In this twice weekly class, a caregiver is required to attend one day per week with their child. On the second day, the child may attend independently or the parent may stay and participate. This class also incorporates once weekly small group in-class parent education.
The children's curriculum at NCP is play-based, hands-on, experiential, and geared to young children's developmental strengths. We put a strong emphasis on social skills and conflict resolution. We encourage our children to communicate with others and to solve problems. We want children in our program to become relaxed in a school setting and look forward to learning and sharing.
Fill out and scan/email the enrollment documents to: registrar@northshorecoop.org. Priority will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Once your family has been accepted into our program, our registrar will contact you to arrange payment of the registration fee and first month's tuition. We are still enrolling for our age-specific classes.

My daughter and I are starting our third year here and we've had a great experience. We love that we're together some of the days, but other days she's there learning independence along with other skills that prepare her for school. It's also important that she learns it all through age appropriate activities and play that meet her where she's at developmentally.

We joined this preschool with our oldest daughter when she was 1 and we both needed to get out of the house. We are heading into our 6th year at the school, now with our second daughter, and it has been so much more than just an outing. The Teachers are amazing and genuine and the kids get so much through free play and the community here. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for early education for your kiddos. But especially to little ones and stay at home parents looking to socialize amongst their peers.

We couldn’t have found a better co-op preschool for our littles. We began with our kids in the 1-2’s class (yes, your little ones can start at 1 years old - it’s amazing!) all the way through to pre-k. The teachers are the best you’ll find. They are engaging and attentive to all the children and they have a passion for helping parents be the best they can be whether its giving encouragement or giving advice on parenting. The environment is clean and best yet, the classroom is changed up 6 times a year which keeps kids excited. They set up an ice cream shop, grocery store, post office and
