I’ve been going to Active Health on and off since I was pregnant with my daughter (2 years old) and today was the day that solidified my belief in chiropractic care. I’ve always “believed” in the benefits but today was legitimately a curing experience. Last night/this morning I have been pretty debilitated by what seemed to be an inner ear infection. I couldn’t even turn my head without dizziness that caused instant nausea. I felt like I couldn’t function. I was adjusted this morning at 10:30AM. It’s 4:16PM and I feel completely normal. Dr. D is not only a amazing person, he is amazing at what he does! I am 26 years old and have been lifting weights for about six years. Coming to Dr. D I was having hip and lower back pain that was sometimes debilitating. Dr D did a full spinal assessment and found problems I didn't even know I had. He explains everything throuroughly and in a very understandable way. Now that I have been seeing him for about a month my pain has decreased significantly and I feel like my problem is actually going to be healed/fixed.

This is my second time going back to Dr. Darrell and he is just awesome. After just a few adjustments I was already feeling like new and it is amazing that when your spine feels good the rest of you just naturally wants to feel good too. I can't even imagine how much more difficult this pregnancy (#4) would be without the gentle, consistent chiropractic care I have received from Dr. Darrell. While I have always had back problems pre-pregnancy (and no chiropractic care), my back felt strong during this pregnancy. He is always ready to answer my questions, takes a natural approach to health, and his receptionist (Samantha) is right on top of things. It's been a very positive experience and I would recommend Active Health Chiropractic to anyone!

The BEST! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vol and his office. I am a busy mother of 3 and have worked for years in the nursing field caring for the elderly which has put a strain on my body. I was still in my 30’s but couldn’t stand up straight or walk for long periods with out being in pain. My friend and physical therapist who would try to assist me finally recommended Dr. Vol and I haven’t felt better. He truly cares about your health and is very compassionate. He doesn’t just care about me but also cares and wants to know how my family is doing as well! Highly recommend!

As a Midwife, I can not be more appreciative of Dr Darrell. Be has gone out of his way, countless times, to adjust an expectant mama prenatally, in labor and even on a Saturday! I have seen his adjustments work miracles on babies with nursing issues and he truly makes it affordable for the entire family to be well taken care of. I cannot recommend Active Health enough!

Active Health chiropractic is the place my entire family receives chiropractic care (even my children, ages 10, 8, 6, 4). Dr. Darrell and his wife are so knowledgable in health and wellness. When you visit Dr. D, you truly fueled cared for as a person, you are not just another chart crossing his path. He and his wife also have a heart for pregnant families and families of infants. Dr. D has made tremendous improvements in my health and quality of life. I was suffering from terrible migraines, anxiety and just not feeling well in general postpartum. After just two weeks in his care I started feeling so much better! I haven't had a migraine now in months, my energy level has improved drastically and I barely ever suffer from anxiety.
My 18 month old son has also been in Dr. D's care. He was having trouble swallowing solid foods and was considered "Failure to Thrive" The improvements in only three visits were miraculous. I honestly couldn't believe it. My boy has been growing

Dr. Darrell and Dr. Gretchen are two of the most professional and caring health care providers I know! They take plenty of time to listen to you and to your body. They are encouraging and positive! I've been going to them for more than 8 years and my son received his first adjustment while he was still a baby. My husband also goes regularly and we have all seen great results by allowing Active Health to help our bodies heal and stay on track to our best potential!
