In certain instances, our menu prices may change. We will always strive to maintain costs and only change prices when necessary. We will always quote a "starting at" price and not a final cost, due to changes or conditions in your services. The loft is in a fun area, there's a lot of parking and cute little places around it. The space itself is very modern, there's art on the walls and everyone is welcoming. I always go to Lara Caldas for my haircuts, she's AMAZING! I bring reference pictures and she always gives me exactly what I ask for. I'm relieved because it took me years to find a salon and stylist that I'm truly happy with.

HORRIBE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH JAZELLE AND HER MOTHER DEBRA, THE OWNER!!
The nutshell version:
I had an appointment with Jazelle to redo my color as it did not come out even close to the pictures I showed her (see below). She reassured me that all cuts and colors are guaranteed for a week, meaning you can come back in for corrections within that period of time. She cancelled my redo and said this was the third time I had asked for a correction, WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT ALL (see details below). I reached out to the owner about this and she did nothing to make the situation right

Marisa has absolutely transformed my skin. She's been my skin woman for around two years, and never ceases to impress. I had my first haircut with Audrey and she was fantastic! This was my 1st haircut since lockdown (March) and so I was definitely in need of a hair pick me up. I am here in Santa Cruz SIP from SF and I think this was one of my best haircuts! I love the way she layered my hair, it falls beautifully, and my longer bangs sweep to perfection. Super impressed with her haircut and the location is in walking distance from me. Cute salon. Definitely coming back!

This place is amazing. Debra's massages are are the kind you need but don't deserve. She turned me from a knotted block of wood into a supple gumbi. Highly recommend. Destiny was also amazing. I told her about an injury I had from running and she recommended me some of their arnica balm and it worked wonders. Wonderful place, wonderful people!!!!

Jazelle is the best! A friend referred me to her because of Jazelles knowledge of curly hair and coloring it. I had grown out, dirty blonde hair that was extremely damaged. Not only did she give me the besT highlights and cut I've ever gotten, she was the absolute best to spend that time with! She is very kind and insightful.
I will recommend everyone I know to go to Jazelle from now on! My hair has never looked or felt better! Love you Jazelle!

After going to the loft salon today there was a miscommunication with the stylist having been told I wanted a root touch up, but I actually wanted highlights. She stated she no longer had time for me and I left shortly after having sat down. However, later in the day the owner, Debra, contacted me and was very apologetic for the way things happened earlier and she said Jazelle would have time for me later in the day. I went back and had an amazing experience with Jazelle who was super kind and did an excellent job with my highlights:) Thank you for making time for me today at the loft, I greatly

If you're a blond and want the perfect hair color, you must see Christine Thyden! She not only colors hair to perfection, but she consistently gives the best hair cut. Mine is long like I love it and she never takes off too much, cuts the perfect amount to give you healthy hair without sacrificing length. I'm blessed to have Christine prettying up my do!

Jazelle gives a great cut and color. We've experimented with different styles and different colors. From really bright colors, to more natural tones, and highlights; and they've always turned out great. Jazelle has always been amenable to a follow-up appointment, if, for whatever reason, I was unhappy with a cut or color after living with it for a few days, but I've never taken her up on it, because I've always been happy. She's very knowledgeable about hair and very honest. For example, one time she told me up front that my hair is resistant to bleach and that to achieve

For anybody in the South Bay looking for the perfect bob or A-line - make an appointment with Jazelle. I have had that hair cut forever, and ended up getting hair cuts each time I travelled to anywhere in Europe (I know I'm lucky) because I just couldn't find a local stylist who would consistently cut my hair. Two years ago I saw Jazelle, and I've never looked back. And yesterday, she managed to turn her previous perfection up another notch. I'm so happy, and I will never have anybody else touch my hair.

Soheila did an amazing job with my hair. She is SO precise and executed my desired style to perfection. After countless other haircuts at other salons just giving me a "clipper cut", it was so refreshing to have a stylist take the time and care to give me a proper scissor cut and razor cut combo. She is also very sweet and kind to chat with. Can't say enough how much detail goes into her work. I will be a repeat customer.
Oh, and The Loft is in a beautiful and relaxed space. The receptionist was super friendly and so happy she ended up pairing me with Soheila.
