I have been a licensed massage therapist for many years and specialize in wellness and relaxation for women. I am extremely passionate about the body's ability to heal and have traveled many places to learn healing modalities that can be incorporated into your session.
Some techniques that I use are craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, stretching, cupping, neuromuscular reeducation, guasha and Asian influenced bodywork. These are excellent for circulation, balancing emotional and physical stress, detoxifying the body and strengthening your immune system.

Most people are familiar with the idea of a massage, but many probably don't realize that it's not only about relaxation. Therapeutic massage focuses on releasing muscle tension due to everyday stress or even an injury. Many people live with pain and don't realize that it's often treatable without the use of medication or invasive procedures.
Craniosacral therapy is one of my favorite modalities and the benefits seem to be endless. Just like our circulatory system, lymphatic system or respiratory system, our nervous system also has a detectable rhythm. By tuning into this, I am able to find restrictions in the body and gently release them so the cerebral spinal fluid can flow up and down the spinal cord and bathe the brain more freely.
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most globally practiced medical treatments in human history. The technique that I use is also called "negative pressure massage". This uses suction to help break up adhesions, stretch tight muscles and fascia, flush out toxins and bring new blood into the area.
For many therapists, lymphatic work is fondly thought of as "playing in the waters". Like running streams, our lymphatic system washes through us and is a vital part of our survival. It is responsible for transporting white blood cells and cleaning the body of toxins, waste and unwanted materials. Many times, whether we are sick, suffering from allergies, wear restrictive clothing or don't move enough, our lymphatic system can become sluggish.
