My 91 year old father was placed here after a hospital stay so that he could rebuild up his strength. He was there for 21 days with very little care. What I mean is basic care that any human being should be able to get and this is suppose to be a 24 /7 hour care facility. He seemed dehydrated and always hungry. He had a broken finger during his stay, and nobody even noticed that he was messing with his finger because it wouldn't bend. My nephew brought it to their attention and yet no one checked it out or even splinted it. Now too much time has gone by to perhaps correct it without surgery. My

A HUGE thank you to ALL the staff at Montecito for taking such great care of my sister, Darbi, and helping her progres in so many ways! You cared about the physical rehab, but also took the time to help her become emotionally strong enough by challenging and encouraging a healthy mindset to push through the difficult times! We love having her home! Couldn’t have gotten this far without ALL of you!! Our family is so grateful to each one of you!!

This place is horrible. My son was only there 3 1/2 days. I repeatedly told them he needed more supervision and they neglected to listen so he ended up injured and in the hospital. He was found by my daughter naked except a diaper on the floor with lumps all on his head, bleeding and scrapes all over, he can't walk but crawled to try to get out of the place.. The air quality is horrible for respiratory problems as well. The place is falling apart and needs a lot of work in patient rooms. Do not take anyone you love there. Do not feel rushed to make a decision and be sure to search and advocate

My son Eric Florence was a patient at your facility for 2 months and received excellent care. The staff were so helpful and went above their duties. When I visited they answered my questions and were so kind. I loved that the therapists pushed him. Thank you to all your wonderful staff. We would recommend you highly.

At first they were ok. I did have have a discussion with the director about no chairs on the patio for visitors. Well, you know budgets etc etc. I ask if they have a discretionary fund or petty cash fund? We’re only looking for 3-4 patio chairs here- try Sams Club. He apparently didn’t like that, but he got 4. By the time COVID hit things went downhill. My husband was there 3 yrs. When we allowed to visit it was strained. They were ALWAYS short staffed.Had to hunt people down for help. Would not get my husband out of bed because it took 2 people and they were “short staffed”. He wouldn’t

I've lived her since February.. they met my needs, they met my wants and they truly embraced me with their warm hearts. The nurses work so hard and worked to meet my needs at all times, even late at night. Respiratory was always so helpful and CNA's were hard working and kind, housekeeping, laundy were beautiful people, The administration always so professional, and the best of all were the activities department who kept me busy and helped me to find proactive things to do and ways to spend my time.

My experience at the Montecito Rehabilitation Care Center is above and beyond the best I've ever had, and I have been in a few. The greatest part of that has to do with the staff, and that is where Andrew Perkins, who is assistant administrator of this facility, really stood out. Anytime I would ask for something or have him follow up on something that was important to me, he always came through, bar none. You could always tell that he really cared about his patience because of his attentiveness and the way he really listened when somebody was talking to him explaining their situation. Although
