Services
My vision is to treat and rehabilitate individual patients not only by eliminating pain and increasing strength and range of motion, but also to improve and maintain overall function. My goal is, after treatment, for patients to have a higher level of function than they did previous to their injury or orthopedic dysfunction.
Michael Stratton, DSc (Doctor of Sports and Sciences), PT, ATC, MA, is the owner of Stratton Sports Medicine. Mike specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries, patient care and rehab for pediatric, adult and the geriatric population. His specialties include neck, shoulder, elbow, hip and knee foot and ankle.
The goal for physical therapy treatment is to improve your overall function to better than it was prior to an injury. Treatments are always specifically catered toward individual patients and their specific symptoms and needs. The goal of each treatment is to reduce pain & swelling, improve range of motion flexibility, increase strength, improve function and prevent future injury.
What is causing my injury, dysfunction or pain and when can I get back to work, sport, or feeling better? The first thing anyone wants to know is: "What's my diagnosis and prognosis (when can I get back to normal living)?" An optimal advantage of coming to Stratton Sports Medicine is that you can receive a diagnosis and prognosis after your evaluation and first treatment.
