The staff was very friendly and service was awesome. My filet was not as tender as I hoped it would be, but next time I will go with the 6 ounce instead of the 9 ounce. They were very sweet about it and offered to cook me another but I was already very hungry so I just ate it. It wasn't poorly cooked at all, they got the temperature just right. It was just a tougher cut than the one my wife got with the smaller filet. Not their fault.

I came on business to Powell and discovered this gem. Had a thought provoking conversation with Rick(Hotel front desk) and shared about business, faith, cooking and gardening. Then headed to the restaurant for an amazing steak dinner. Seriously this restaurant (and I am a chef) was top notch! And, the staff that waited on me. I felt soooo at home AND last but not least…the Carmel apple cheesecake! I’m happy and will return here many many times. And the rooms are clean, spacious and a tub to soak in!

We stayed here for four days and were pleasantly surprised. Rooms we clean and well tended to. Staff was friendly and polite. Always asking if we needed anything and always offering up help and fun ideas. It is peaceful and a great place to just unwind. Close enough to everything so that after you’ve ‘recharged’, you can head out for some fun.

The Lamplighter is an excellent dining establishment. We had dinner and the whole experience was A-1. The restaurant is staffed 100% with knowledgeable, competent, and friendly people. The food was high quality, fresh, excellently prepared and tasty. A fully stocked bar is available for those desiring a cocktail or some wine. We will be back.

Their ad should say “Best steak in Park County “!! We’ve been coming here for years and appreciate this restaurant now more than ever. The restaurants in Cody just aren’t the same. After a long day in… Yellowstone we had an amazing steak dinner with salad, soup and a vegetable. It was divine. Classic restaurant with a great menu. We will be back many more times!

This place has the appearance of an old style high quality steakhouse. I went for the prime rib, they were sold out at 5:30, although the place was only a quarter full. I sat at the bar. The bar maid was extremely loud, yelling at customers and barking orders at staff members. It was so intense, I had a headache by the second drink. The second server was insistent that I place my order immediately, depsite having repeatedly stated I would after I finished my drink. She did so yelling from across the a bar at an order station. I ordered the rib eye. The salad was great, the rib eye was the second

Wonderful meal with great service and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, even though it was full! It seemed like we had 3 waitresses taking care of us! my filet mignon was perfect as was my wife's salmon. And the cheesecake dessert! Wow! And the drinks were good too! That's hard to find. We will definitely be back as it is now tied for 2nd of our favorite restaurants in all of Park County!
