My family and I have enjoyed eating here for the past 3 years or so. They have an extensive gluten free menu and seem to take precautions to keep things from being cross contaminated.
We had a few issues with take out during the pandemic, but we did call in to report them (they were fairly minor - non gluten free tortilla cups used for condiments in a gluten free order, a missing dressing) and next time, made sure things were right before we left.
I have the spice tolerance of an infant so sometimes the standard seasoning is a bit much for me - I notate light seasoning for my meats and that’s

We have always had a great experience at Pablo's! The food is fresh and delicious. The menu options we have tried have all been great- fajitas, combination plates, hard shell tacos, salads, burrito bowls. It's a great place to eat! There is outdoor seating, too. The chips and salsa is always appreciated as a starter. Enjoy!

Very disappointed. Used to love Pablos food. Price online was $9.99 but got charged $12.11. Paid cash but seems like tax shouldn’t have been that much. Picked up order at exact time I was told would be ready. Took me about 3 minutes to get home. Food was cold. Very skimpy portion of refried beans and huge portion of undercooked rice.

My boyfriend and I were from out of town and were looking for a nice place to eat, so we stopped in here! The service was good, awesome waitress. However food was not that impressive. I will say the queso was pretty good. I had the street tacos, couldn't finish them. My boyfriend had the fajitas and he was not very happy with it. Steak was cooked how he had asked. It just had no flavor. Veggies were definitely not cooked long enough for a fajita, soggy and undercooked. For the price of the steak and shrimp fajita ($18) he was hopeful for a little bit more. Overall not terrible but not great

We come for the margarita flights and stay for the quesadillas!! So delicious. They have a cute little patio too. Servers are nice and attentive. A perfect little gem for downtown Shakopee! They have a pretty good kids menu too that will satisfy whatever craving your picky eater might have ((the French fries are amazing- mom and dad probably eat more than the two year old :-) ))

Late lunch (as usual) and had heard a bit about Pablo's. I was hoping for something special but it didn't help when two servers (or maybe a manager and a server) had a conversation about who would take us as theie last table of the day. It's so nice to feel welcomed, isn't it!
Anyway, our server, prior to disappearing was fine. He helped us wander through the menu and checked back on our drinks. My steak fajitas arrived pretty quickly and looked good (see photo). Upon arriving the steak was done as ordered but quickly turned to "well done" as it cooked at the table

A customer service embarrassment. They had our table on a stopwatch and kicked us out after exactly 90 minutes as we were signing the check. There was no one waiting for tables, we had ordered food and 2 rounds of drinks and still were treated like criminals. Completely unacceptable and offensive. Avoid!

We stopped in for drinks. Had a great server. I think the drinks were on the pricey side. They asked my wife for her phone number. I asked if there was a wait and there wasn't so I assume it is for marketing. We are not from this area and don't need any more calls or texts than we already get. Probably won't go back when we are in town.

Margaritas are always good here. They have the just right amount of sour - not to much like margaritas often have. No stomach ache or heartburn from these margaritas!
Had the Ultimate Chimichanga, try it with the grilled chicken, it was super good. The guacamole was tasty and the queso topping was light not heavy like a typical queso, it was very good. I was concerned as I do not like queso. Also had the Chili Rellenos. The batter on the pepper was good and the relleno sauce was great. The chips were fresh with the right amount of salt. The salsa was flavorful although wish it was chunkier and

Slap on your stretchy pants because Lord have mercy! The food here is plentiful and delicious. We came for my daughter’s birthday and the staff was super friendly. Plus she even got a birthday candle on her complimentary fried ice cream for dessert. Tip: have the margarita flite. You’re welcome! Pablos for the win! We’ll be back.

Amazing food, we went there 3 times a week and was amazing. The food is great, get the cheese steak and bean quesadilla. Best restaurant ever! It has a Beautiful out side and the inside is very impressive. We met the chefs after the food and they were nice people. Waiters here perfect, very nice. The owners daughter is a hostess and is very hot. They have great music and they have live performance that are amazing (my favorite was the mariachi band was my favorite). They have a great view of the Statue of Liberty. The specials were amazing, the fish tacos were my favorite. A truly beautiful place

Visited 6/19/20 in the middle of the pandemic.
Of approx 15 staff only saw one actually wearing their mask.
They all had cloth bandannas tied around their necks but only the one had it pulled up.
Several times observed 3-5 Staff clustered inches apart at both the inside and outside host stand with no masks.
My take away is that mgt isn't concerned with the health and safety of either their staff or customers.
It's unfortunate as it was one of our favorite places, but not going back.

TexMex at the SW suburbs best. Pablo (Paul) and his family have run this restaurant for a long time. I have to admit that I am in a rut - I get the taco & enchiladas combo (hard shell w/ ground beef, one cheese/onion & one shredded beef w/ black beans.
For those of you that read my reviews, you know that love authentic Mexican food. This is not that. This is Tex Mex. Big portions. Shaken margaritas. Hot plates. Solid TexMex food. Tasty.
I eat authentic Mexican weekly or more, but when I am craving TexMex I go south of the border (river) to Shokopee to eat here. And run into

The food was delicious, waitress was nice. All 3 top-shelf, hand-shaken margaritas my table ordered were very watered down. Manager re-made 1 drink, which was slightly better. We never got water refills, or a checkup after the 1 drink was replaced. Asked for bill and to speak to manager again- owner came speak with us.
Owner was incredibly rude, even though we were polite. Blamed it on being busy and said they've never had complaints before. Asked what "we wanted him to do about it " and that only one person had complained enough to remake a drink, not all 3.
Due to owner&apos

There are not very many authentic Mexican restaurants in our neighborhood and it was a treat finding Pablo's! Pretty good food, cool ambience and helpful staff.
Their chips and salsa leave you wanting more and you can easily fill up on them with how good they are. The carne asada tacos hit the spot for me. The seafood nachos were delicious- the baby shrimp was made really well. And the burrito bowl with spicy shredded beef was a great portion.
You get a bang for your buck here with portions and the taste is great. I approve!
Husband was a little bummed that they didn't know/offer carne asada

I really only liked the chips and salsa here. I ordered the tacos Al pastor. I usually love the pineapple juiced over the pork, but what I got was so different than what I'm used to. The pork was pretty dry and it was hard to chew. I tried to salvage it by putting salsa in my tacos. The salsa did help it a little bit, but I don't recommend getting this. Get the chimichangas instead. My boyfriend ordered that, which was better than my tacos. Luckily I ordered only two tacos instead of three. The Spanish rice was okay. It is nice they refill your chips and salsa though. I don't think

My boyfriend and I ended up here on accident. We just got done playing a round of mini golf and then went to Yelp to search for 'Mexican Food Near Me' and found Pablo's. Basically, I just wanted fajitas really bad so I didn't really care where we ended up.
Pablo's was a mile from Golf Zone in a cute downtown area. There is a parking lot but also street parking is an option. It had two entrances, we accidentally went in through the bar since we'd never been there. After walking to the front, the hostess let us know we could sit at the bar or at a high top for drinks

The food is decent here and the portion sizes are good. They have a large lunch special list during the week and drink specials at night.
It is a big place with lots of tables so you can bring groups. It always seems to be busy so their business appears to be doing well.
Flavor wise the things I've tried are on the less spicy side (including salsas), so not lots of heat if you are looking for that.
The value is decent, you get a good amount of food for the price.
