Dr. Handa was born in Pune, India and completed her dental schooling in India before moving to Boston in 2009. Dr. Delis Ogando comes from the Dominican Republic where he earned his dental degree at Universidad Iberoamericana. We strive to make each patient's first visit to our dental office informative, exciting, and comfortable.

Dr. Gwozdz has immigrated to the United States from Poland, and completed her High School diploma at Good Counsel High School in Chicago. She graduated from Elmhurst College with degree in Economics and Preprofessional sciences and a minor in German. In 1998, she entered graduate program in Pharmacology at Rush University.

Girls in the office lack the experience in how the paperwork is handled. I was given a quote on my implant and I specifically stressed the question. "Is the amount of my quote the price for the whole procedure?" They all agreed it was. I asked 3 times and also called prior to the procedure. The day before my appt. The dentist let me know that the amount was for the first part of the implant procedure only, NOT THE WHOLE PROCEDURE. I will not be returning to this location. 3 stars only because they are friendly and the wait time is very minimal.

Don't take your kids here. This place is so unprofessional! They wanted to take my 3 year old to the back without me saying due to COVID precautions. Okay whatever I told them I didn't feel comfortable so they let me back. The dentist said my kid had cavities all over and no one could tell me what to do about them. I receive a call hours after leaving saying I need to pay for the assessment that was done. I asked why wasn't I charged while I was there and they said they didn't know. They don't know anything. Took my 5 year old here for an emergency extraction the manager was nice so was one of the dental assistant who helped me, but one if the ladies "Stephanie " who works there busted in the room while the Dr. was talking to me and my son and stated are we going to be doing this all day because my son was afraid ! The was the second strike she had yelled at my son prior for crying ... this just isn't a kid friendly place !

We clarified protocol, which I understand and he pointed out the willingness to consider case by case situations. I made the mistake of bringing my youngest, which is why I also understood why I couldn't go back, but we went right after school. This was a mistake I'm willing to fix myself.
My son is older so I was not given follow up advice on whether he should eat, take pain meds, etc... Chris stated he would remind staff to follow up with parent. I also do not know if he saw the same dentist as I met last time who was a little too short with

Out here visiting from out of state and you could imagine my dismay when my crown falls out!! (No more Now and Laters for me!!) I had no idea what to do, but I was referred to Dr. Theresa and she was awesome! I was able to get in quickly and she took care of me. I was in and out of the chair in probably 15 min! The staff were so nice and asked about my stay out this way. The office was clean and welcoming. Thank you Oak Lawn Smiles!!!!!
