The Quiet Zone is the expert lube service facility and we have four top-notch locations from which to choose. You'll find our service experts busy at work in Bantam, Thomaston, Watertown, Orange, and Torrington.
There are many names for this light, Check Engine, CEL, MIL Light, Service Engine Soon Light, or sometimes Emissions Light, and they all look different depending on the make and model of your vehicle. Our sixth location in Naugatuck is a return to where we started. Back in the eighties our family purchased this building from Roy Poust. Roy, proudly ran The gas and service station for many years and in 1958 was awarded a national "Service Center of the Year" award. Following in Roy's tradition our family ran it as the Meineke Muffler Shop until the late 90's.

The person at the desk was not wearing a mask on both days and refused to wear one after I asked. This was one day after we reached 500,000 Covid deaths. It is unfortunate I had to be put at risk because this business does not make better decisions.
Also, I had to go here because I needed an emergency repair, and their rates are high compared to others in the area. I could have easily had the service done for $100 less if I had more time to go to a different spot.

Extremely knowledgeable on any aspect of your vehicle. Ive had brake lights put new sockets in no bodyelse could figure it out .also had the top of my shock spring brake you could not see it and jim figured it out .

Brought my car here for a simple emissions test. The service engine soon light was on so I just needed them to get that off and run the emissions. Not only could they not achieve this without charging me $400 (for a job that my mechanic fixed for less than $200) but when I left they had messed with my muffler and you can hear my car coming 5 miles away. My car has been loud and my muffler has been messed up ever since I went there. They are a shady car place and don't deserve any business.

Never would've expected such kindness from an auto repair shop. I came in for a simple emissions test, Alfonso was super nice and got it done right away. But the best part is the customer service I witnessed while waiting. There was an older couple getting their car serviced. Something was wrong with it when it was test drove after the repair so they had to bring it back in for fixing. The couple was running late to a doctors appointment so one of the employees drove the couple to their doctors appointment!! I was so shocked and moved. Listening to the guys while on the phone with other customers

I had an issue with front-end vibration at higher speeds and took my Buick to the dealer to address it. After hours of waiting and paying the higher labor rates there, my service advisor told me that the wheels were balanced properly and that they had rotated the tires to the point that the vibration was "better". The advisor also told me that I needed new tires and that the vibration was probably due to a defective belt in a tire. Needless to say that my problem persisted and I decided to visit the Quiet Zone in Orange for a 2nd opinion. As a walk-in, I was treated with respect, honesty and promptness
