Services
Dr. Joe Delmond graduated from University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2010. He commuted and practiced in Ocala for over five years before transitioning into Gainesville with Dr. Winikor. Dr. Delmond and his wife are active volunteers in both local and international dental programs such as Gainesville Community Ministries, Mission of Mercy in Jacksonville, Acorn Clinic, and Dentistry from the Heart (Ocala).
Laura was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from college in her hometown, she moved to Gainesville and attended dental assisting school. She worked for several years as an assistant while putting herself through dental hygiene school, which she graduated with our own Rychane. Laura practiced as a hygienist for 16 years and spent most of that time serving our veterans at the Gainesville VA clinic.

Switching from her pediatric dentist, my 17-year old daughter waited months to go to Dr. Delmond for a cleaning. We filled out 5 long online forms ahead of her visit. My daughter drove 30 minutes to her first appointment and they refused her service saying they couldn't find her paperwork and an adult must be there by Florida law for a minor's first visit. This requirement was not communicated even though the lady on the phone insisted that it was. Also, I do not believe that an adult is required to be present for a minor's first visit to a dentist to be a Florida law. From what I read, consent

Best dental experience I’ve ever had!!!! The entire staff was so kind and friendly, the Covid precautions were amazing!! I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Dr. Delmond, was professional, informative, and provided such great reassurance to me throughout my appointment. I cant recommend this practice enough and even more so for anyone who experiences any level of anxiety surrounding dentistry!! 20/10 would recommend.

I used to hate going to the dentist. I had a bad experience where I was told I needed a ton of dental work to be done on old fillings, needed cosmetic veneers and a few other additional things. I never felt comfortable and was always stressed while at the dentist. That all changed once I became a patient at Delmond Dentistry.The staff is friendly, helpful, and informative. Dr. Joe Delmond is awesome. He explains everything with sufficient detail, is efficient, does quality work, and creates a sense of trust. I no longer dread going to the dentist. My experience with Dr. Joe Delmond and his staff was nothing short of exceptional. As someone who hadn’t been to the dentist in awhile due to grad school getting away from me, I recently got a small chipped tooth that needed some major work done and quick. I came to Delmond Dentistry for a second opinion in 2019 about a failed bridge. I had been going to a large dental practice in Gainesville and was given some vague information and felt uncomfortable on a gut level. Dr. Delmond reviewed my x-rays and proposed a clear solution to the problem. Awesome Dr and staff!!!!!
I came in a few weeks ago as emergency appointment because I chipped a filling on my front tooth and couldn’t get into my dentist for a few weeks. They were able to get me in that afternoon. The staff was very courteous and Dr. Delmond was very attentive. I went back today for another filling that I needed done and they were great. I HATE having dental work done but they made it painless. They also texted in the evening to make sure I was doing ok with my tooth. I was very impressed!

Our family loves Dr. Delmond and his staff. My husband is afraid of dental procedures and has needed extensive work. Dr. Delmond and his staff have made the whole process as easy as possible for my husband and they are the only reason he has finally gone through with getting the much needed work done. Our son loves them for his routine visits as well. The office is clean and up to date and it's an overall good atmosphere!

Such an amazing team at Delmond Dentistry! I have a lot of dental anxiety, especially since I haven't really stayed on top of my routine cleanings in recent years. Dr. Delmond is absolutely fantastic, and his entire team (shoutout to my hygienist Rychane!) is wonderful, kind, non-judgmental, and passionate about their work. Very grateful for… everyone here. You have all helped to alleviate my anxiety and make my experience much more enjoyable. OMG!!! OMG!!! Wonderful!!! Dr Delmond and his staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! I can honestly say he has been the best dentist I have ever seen for a first time visit. He wants you to look at the xrays while he reviews them with you!! Thats. A keeper right there!!! Hides nothing from you and wants you involved in everything. He tells you his… limitations and explains everything in laymen terms so you understand!! He might be a youngin but WOW!!! Prices with my insurance is reasonable too!!! Great bedside manner which is a must for me!! Highly recommend him to everyone!!!

I went to see Dr. Delmond and his staff a week ago for 6 extractions and 2 fillings. I have never had any major dental work and was extremely nervous about the process. To my surprise, Dr. Delmond extracted all 6 teeth and did both fillings all with under an hour! I felt absolutely no pain! The whole procedure was so comfortable and easy! Dr. Delmond talked me through the whole process and helped me to have the most pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Delmond Dentistry for anyone. They are an absolutely amazing office and staff!

Dr. Delmond is my boss and dentist. He is a great person to work for...really great! Also as my dentist he is very gentle, patient and concerned about his patients comforts. And as far as a dental appointment he makes sure your visit is one you enjoy! And he is real particular and takes the time so that his work is of excellent quality!
