At Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic, knowing that you and your pet had the best possible experience at our animal hospital is important to us. Our core mission is to provide the best care for your furry friends, and to expand our circle of care to as many patients as possible. Our belief in a caring, compassionate world for all animals is strengthened with each new patient.
Bringing your four-legged friend in once a year for a comprehensive wellness exam is a great way to be proactive about health problems, but pet vaccinations are equally important. Vaccines help prepare the immune system to fight off certain viruses and diseases, which is why they need to be updated on a regular basis (every 1-3 years).

Sadly it was time for Matthew the Catthew to leave me and join his previous owner, my aunt Frances, in Cat Paradise. He’d lost weight and was having trouble walking & he cried piteously. I knew that any attempt to prolong his life would be for my benefit, not his. The vet at Wood Hill (a Brit, but I didn’t catch the name b/c I was crying) was very tender with both of us - and with my daughter, who had come for moral support. He listed a few possible options that I suspect were more for me than for Matthew’s sake & when I declined these, he affirmed my decision to put M to sleep. This was

Lauren and Dr. Hood were great. They were professional, informative, and attentive. My 10 week old Labrador puppy Tucker had his first visit. All of my questions and concerns were answered. Tucker loved all the attention he got from staff. It was a pleasant experience and we look forward to working with Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic in the future. 🐕🐾

The most unhelpful, rude, and money obsessed vet I’ve ever encountered. The person answering the phone was upset I showed up without an appointment, note that this was an emergency, and then they could only see us at 2pm, I was there at 10:15am, when I said sure I’ll take the appointment but maybe things will be ok by then, she said she didn’t want to give away appointment unless I was going to show up. Awful, you should be ashamed, you are supposed to help animals in need, not be focused on money that you may or may not be making.

Sammy, Zoey, and Metro are so thankful they found Dr Hood, Dr Delliere, and all the staff at Wood Hill. Zoey was so sick, they took her on as a new patient immediately, and she has made a complete recovery.… Metro and Sammy, although not sick, received great care as new patients. We look forward to years of good care for our sweet critters.❤️

Not only is Dr. Sue Tanner super competent but she and her staff are very caring and supportive. I live in New York City and have a country home near Dr. Tanner. I have tried several vets in the city. None compare with Dr. Tanner. Even though I am hardly ever up to the country I only bring my dogs to Dr. Tanner. We have been going to her for very many years. Your animal is in super competent hands with Dr. Tanner.
