Better Life Counseling Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, outpatient, non-denominational Christian counseling center for individuals, couples, and families. Our staff is comprised of highly trained and State Board licensed therapists. Underlying our strong commitment to quality psychotherapy is a Christian perspective, which influences the treatment of spiritual, relational, and mental health issues.

Families may experience a number of joys as well as challenges as they navigate through the family life cycle. We seek to help families work more collaboratively to improve communication and more effectively and nurture the needs of each family member. A combination of individual and joint family counseling is often utilized.
In addition to BLCC's Parenting Separately course, we work with co-parents in our office to develop an individualized co-parenting plan to assist in improving communication around many important parenting concerns including daily routines, discipline, education, health, extracurricular activities, etc. Co-parenting is present and future focused and designed to help co-parents avoid negative patterns of interaction and find mutually agreeable solutions to better navigate the parenting journey.
BLCC offers a variety of intensive counseling options for couples and dealing with challenging circumstances that cannot be adequately addressed through traditional weekly therapy. Couples contemplating separation or divorce. Couples in crisis following the discovery of broken trust or betrayal such as an affair.
BLCC offers technology-assisted counseling (TAC) in the form of video-conferencing and phone sessions for individuals and couples who are unable to visit our Jonesboro offices or prefer the privacy and convenience of technology-assisted services. We recommend an initial face-to-face session to discuss the potential strengths and limitations of this approach.
