A very skilled guy and easy to talk to. He asked me at some length what type of haircut I wanted and his communication is great. Very reasonable prices and no long waiting period. I can't understand why anyone would be unhappy with the service provided, other than to say you can please some of the people all of the time, and...etc.

We love Khuan! Excellent value for sure. All 3 of my kids--22, 20 and 18--have been pleased which is saying a lot for those ages! (2 females and 1 male) I'm 55 and female. Khuan listens to what you ask for and gives you that haircut. He is very careful to respect your wishes. Initially, the kids brought several pictures to give him an idea of their goal cut. Khuan has good availability. He manages calls for appointment requests while he cuts, but does so efficiently and without compromising the quality of your cut. Highly recommend!

I saw this salon one day passing by, I thought I'd give him a try...walked in and saw Khuan doing a lady's hair, asked when his next afternoon appointment is available...made one for 2 days later. I had him shampoo my hair, then sat down for a consult..I told him I wanted a clipper cut on the bottom and to leave it long on top. He put a guard on his clippers and went around my head on the bottom, and then said he's finished. Got home and looked in the mirror at the back. He didn't bother to blend the newly clippered bottom with the upper sides and top. Didn't finish my

I called and asked for available dates, wherein he rudely replied that he is busy. Next he said he was available on sunday and i said okay will do. Google and yelp info says this salon is closed on sunday, however it's not. So be aware, if you call him and i think he has a mood to take an appointment he will. I again called and confirmed he said yes, he will take the appointment.
Now, i call the salon before 10 and ask whether i can come later. This rude guy disconnected my phone by saying "you no show, its okay"
I mean seriously, that's how you talk to a person before listening

This was my first visit to Khan's hair salon and I was a little nervous at first going to someone new. First of all he was fantastic and I can't believe he's been here 4 years and I didn't know. I got my hair highlighted (3rd time in my life) and he walked me through the process and asked the right questions. My hair looks natural and beautiful. He is very down to earth and very immersed in what he is doing. We had a wonderful conversation and he was very pleasant. His pricing was very reasonable. I am so happy to have found him!

Leslie cut both my daughter's hair here today and did a fantastic job! Both girls were so pleased they insist on coming back for future haircuts thus (insert sarcasm) burdening me with the future expense as they live at their moms. I reckon it's a small price to pay for quality service and bright smiles. Thank you Leslie for the joys you provided my daughter's and i today.

I guess I should have know better than to go into a place with "Hair Design" in the title for a hair cut as a walk-in.. I walked in wearing a baseball cap while a couple of other gents were getting their hair highlighted. The owner, Kahn, took one look at me and said "I'm over booked, so....." and left it at that. I felt that he was being condescending and that I was pretty unwelcome. Maybe he was overbooked, although I only saw two others, I any case he could have been polite about it; I will never step foot in this place again.

My wife went for a hair cut and wash. The place would look like not any other saloon that I have visited.
It was a one man show. The hair dresser is the one who cuts, cleans, attends calls and handles ur payment.
It was first time here and I was skeptical. But when he started working on my wife's hair I was convinced that he really knows what he was doing .
My wife's feedback: He took his time and patiently worked on my hair and also suggested grooming tips in maintaining my hair.
Overall for the price we paid it was perfectly cheap compared to any other place I the area

I moved to Smyrna pretty recently and needed to find a hair salon close to home. It is hard to find hair stylists who are comfortable with cutting really long hair and the way I like it cut. I have Asian straight, waist length hair. I usually like it in a deep v shape with layers from my chin down and thinned out so it doesn't have so much weight.

Although I usually only go to Korea hair salons because upscale ones are too expensive and I don't trust Great Clips, I decided to give Khuan a try because he was the only one who would take me in at the time.
All said and done, I loved my haircut. He handled my requests perfectly and my hair looked exactly like what I wanted, all this while being very affordable.
The hair salon itself is very small and it can get pretty busy on weekends, so make sure to book your appointment in advance.

Love Khuan! after moving from Australia I had to find a hair dresser quick... and Khuan's was fairly close so I chose him...
Khuan is very Talented....I have been there 5 times for my cut and 3 times for my 2 year old daughter.... he will always ask me if i want him to use scissors or the blade before we start and he will try and get as much information from me on what I want done... I know there are some negative reviews on here about his ability to cut but I really think its only because people dont give him enough clear information on what they want him to do... so make sure he understands
