She's won numerous awards for her scissor skills, but her best award is the list of longtime clients who have trusted her with their styles for over a decade. She has been twice featured in Atlanta magazine for her innovative "C-Cut, " which has landed her national recognition for its revolutionary success for women with ringlets, waves and spirals.

This salon is a blessing and i'm so happy I found it. i've been elsewhere and my hair has been suffered it from other places. this team of people know what they are doing. will did a fanstastic job on matching my color to just what i needed and he has the best southern drawl ever and kristin cut my hair and gave me so much volume that I felt like i could fly away lmao. they know what they are doing and i could tell they love their jobs. just the way they talked to me from when i first walked in made me feel like i was a old friend.. i also liked how i did not feel like i was in a stuffy place.

Kristen James Hair Studio is very relaxing with fun, unique atmosphere. Kristen and all the stylists here are highly experienced and produce great consistent results. My stylist here is Cayla Roberts. She is absolutely fantastic at my color and cut / styling. I HIGHLY recommend Kristen James Hair Studio. I started searching for a new stylist upon moving to the Atlanta area. I am very picky about my blonde highlights and decided to give Kristen James Hair Studio a try after reading many positive reviews. Cayla at Kristen James Hair Studio did AMAZING work on my hair. She spaces highlights in such a way that makes it look completely natural. It even grows out naturally to where I do not have that dark line when it is time for more highlights. I am picky about how my highlights cover dark spots around my face and, without having to remind her, Cayla automatically

I needed someone who could cut my post-pregnancy feathery mess with grown out gray roots and turn it into something that looked great while requiring no maintenance and could accommodate my going to the salon only once or twice a year. Cayla used her extensive professional knowledge to deliver, it looks fantastic! She really listened to my hair struggles and to what I was hoping to do with it. I was impressed by her skills and attentiveness. I look forward to going back!

I got my haircut here. There were a few weeks of a wait to get in, but it was sooooo worth it. They really know what they’re doing in there. I think she hands down gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. She just really pays attention to details. I got a haircut without a clear idea coming in, but she designed a cut that really works. No color, but the cut is so good, I think it looks amazing without it. Very good tips for everyday styling and recommends products, but doesn’t sell them so she isn’t biased.

I have to update my review because my curly haired mom had her first c cut from Kristen and was totally in love with the attention to detail and friendly attitude of Kristen and Will. When she walked in her cut and color were boring and aging her, and when she left, she was the talk of the town!

I followed Shay from a Buckhead Salon. I obviously love her way of treating me and my hair. This salon has a vacation kind of relaxing environment and while you relax, you never feel taken for granted.
The other folks at Kristen James Salon are also amazing people. I'm happy Shay has such a great environment to continue keeping my hair how I love it.
