As the chief executive at Alignment Healthcare, John Kao leads by example. When his mother suffered a heart attack, he witnessed first-hand how difficult it was to navigate the health care system and how that experience can lead to slower recovery. This reminded him why he founded Alignment in 2013-to provide health care as it should be, to care for each and every member as if they were part of our family.
