Services
Our Infant Program provides a safe, loving and warm environment that supports each child's needs. Our goal is to complement your needs and wants from your home into ours. Each family has a personalized care plan for their child that ensures continuity of your home routine. Parents receive a daily written record of meals, naps, and diapering details.
The Busy Bugs and Barn Yard classrooms welcome you to their toddler program! Toddlers have two rooms to grow and develop in, and continue their learning from Baby Land. We want to lead your toddler into self discovery and confidence. Learn how to drink from sippy cups, and develop less of a reliance on bottles and pacifiers.
In our preschool classrooms, your child will continue their learning and development daily. While they are growing and discovering themselves, we provide an enriching hands-on curriculum that encourages their individuality, personality, and the ability to work with their peers. Furthering the ability to articulate in sentences, recognize and name colors, shapes, weather, days of the week and months of the year.
The Pre-Kindergarten program engages your child for every scenario of their upcoming journey into school, and enables the confidence needed for success. Our program masters all points of development both personally and academically. Your child will develop a more mature attention span as they expand their cognitive, social, and physical growth.
Our Before & After School Program offers a wide variety of activities and programs for your school aged child. In addition to providing transportation to and from surrounding schools, our daily programs are full of activities throughout the school year, minimum days, holiday breaks, and summer. Organized group games both indoors and out enable children to depend on themselves and others, while learning how to work together.

I was thinking of taking my little one here when he gets up in age for preschool but after seeing how the support staff and other supervisors are around the kids at Rebounder's on 08/07/2019 at 10am I won't consider them any more. Adults watching the kids are actually not watching them there on there phones pretty much all the time, when there not on the phones there doing there own thing leaving the kids alone and doing there own fun on there own away from the kids there in charge of. The kids have there own mob mentality and cut in line in front of regular customers like my family and

Could not imagine a better group of people to watch and care for my son. I have seen so much growth in him since he started LFU 5 months ago (he's 2 1/2 years old). The office staff is always friendly and flexible. They go out of their way to have fun activities for the students, parents and staff. The teachers in his class are amazing. They give me updates and tell me stories about his daily activities like they were bragging about their own child.

I started bringing my daughter to LFU last October when she was 7 months. She is now in her third classroom since she started and I have been very satisfied and happy with all her teachers.
She comes come home saying new words and knowing new animal sounds every single day. It's so amazing to see how much she has learned from daycare. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone interested. You won't be disappointed!

I love everything about LFU! The staff is extremely personable. Everyone cares about your child, health, education, and growth. The campus is large with a lot of equipment for children of all ages to interact with. When my daughter started attending LFU she was in the toddler room. They have their own play area that my daughter absolutely LOVED. All the teachers are great at teaching, loving, and caring for children. My daughter runs to her classroom everyday!!

Very disappointed and upset with their client service leading up to the pending registration of my oldest child with this facility. Was left unanswered ,during the school tour, if my kids can attend here or not, due to director being out that week, (I get it, they need vacations too). I accidentally called back same week, I am a SAHM so sometimes I forget what day of the week it is.. LOL. Anyways, was told I would receive a call Mon or Tues from the director with a response. Nothing, called on Wed and the director said there was definitely a spot open for my son (who will be attending a school

I've had my two girls at Little Folks University since they were each 9 months old. They are now 8 and 4 years of age and I couldn't imagine anywhere else providing such good care for them. I trust the staff will always treat my kids with love and respect, and my kids report these feelings to me time after time in regards to LFU. Not only do they provide great care, but they provide an array of activities to help the children learn and grow as both individuals and part of a class. I would recommend LFU without any reservations to anyone looking for any childcare needs.

So impressed with this daycare. I signed up my 7 year old son for summer daycare and there has not been a week that has gone by without an outing/field trip (they've gone to the Folsom Prison, Chalbot Space and Science Center, Escape Room, World of Wonders Museum, Ripley's, Fencing, aquatic center and there's still more). Every day is packed with projects and curriculum to learn. The staff is amazing and so friendly as well. I just wish I had found this place sooner.

Anyone remotely considering this daycare, do it. My daughter has been here 2 years and is excelling. She knew sign language as a baby, and now knows all of her letters, numbers and colors. The teachers are so engaging and knowledgeable. Despite being a center, all the staff know every child (and their parents). The prices are cheapest around as well. We are now having our second child, and I can't wait to bring them to LFU.

We absolutely love Little Folks University. All of the teachers truly love the kids. Their experience has helped us know as first time parents what to expect from our children. They had my two year old drinking from a cup, when we were sure he was too little, they now have him clearing his dishes from the table. My infant lights up, smiles and leans for his teacher when I drop him off. Little folks has also done a wonderful job of creating a community, and goes out of their way to have special activities for the whole family on holidays and through out the year.

Truly wonderful school!! My daughter has been attending LFU since she was 7 weeks old and we couldn't imagine having her go anywhere else. The teachers are dedicated and fun! I know they try to make everyday special and educational for their kids. My daughter is excited every morning to go to school and has a love of learning thanks to her LFU family.

Little Folks University is the BEST daycare/school in the area! My husband and I drive from downtown Sacramento everyday just to bring our son here because of Bonnie and her amazing staff. They make you feel welcome, comfortable and they make you feel like family. I recommend Little Folks to anyone that I know. It is truly a remarkable school and we are so lucky to take our son here.

One of a kind school AND teachers! We love LFU! They genuinely care about their kids. My daughter asks to go to school, she loves being there. They are the perfect blend of education and fun. After spending months researching a drop in facility, we found out on August 31 that our daycare was shutting down forever. I was in need of a place to watch my easy going 11 month old two days a week. I called and asked if I could come do a tour in 15 minutes. I've found that places that who let you tour at any time with no appointment are the cleanest since they have nothing to hide. I showed up and was toured through the infant room and 12-18 month room. I really like that the children are broken up by age appropriate groupings like infants, 12-18 months, 18 months to potty trained

I've been blessed to have children at Little Folks University for the last five years. Our experiences have been amazing! The teachers are heart-felt, dedicated, caring, and talented. In fact, my son learned int their Jr. Kinder program basically everything that will be done this year in Kindergarten. His new Kindergarten teacher said that he was amazingly over-prepared for Kindergarten! Bonnie knows all the kids and families, respects their individual needs and differences, and somehow perfectly coordinates their amazing program. Summer school age camp is off the charts too! Pure awesomeness

My daughter (now 5 years old) attended Little Folks University for about 2 years prior to starting kindergarten and we couldn't be happier with her experience there and how much she grew socially and academically! She is now a thriving kindergartner! The teachers are caring and awesome...every time my daughter sees one of her pre-K teachers she's just ecstatic! Bonnie is wonderful and always available to parents...she truly cares about the kids.

My daughter has attended LFU for the last 5 years, and my infant will be attending starting in February, once she is born. We were referred to Bonnie after a very unpleasant experience at a different facility. We love the family environment and how much everyone there really does care about the children. This is a top teir school and Folsom is lucky to have such an establishment!

This is literally the best school ever! Miss Bonnie and all of the teachers genuinely care about your kid, and they are treated like family, and even if your child is not in that specific teachers class, they still know each and every child by name. Love it here! I highly recommend them! Also, they learn so much, our son just had his kindergarten evaluation after attending Little Folks, and his K teacher was very impressed by how much he knew. Couldn't have done it without them! Thank you Little Folks!
