Services
Professional Instruction at its finest. Maplewood Way of Life Karate are trained professionals at teaching the character building traits that develop black belts from the inside out; focus, discipline, self-control and perseverance to name a few. You won't find student instructors at our school. We maintain a staff of highly skilled, thoroughly educated adult professionals to give you the very best in martial arts education.
Kids of all ages can benefit from learning karate. Because karate builds not only physical strength but strength of character in kids, it translates into improved performance and discipline outside the dojo too -- at home, at school, in groups of friends. Introduce your child to new, exciting pathways of strength at Maplewood Way of Life Karate.
Learn how to successfully defend yourself and your family from the most common street attacks! Self-defense is about skill and technique, not size or brawn. You will be amazed at the inner-strength you already possess to land a targeted kick, punch like you mean it and the power of your elbow or knee and other lifesaving techniques.

Our 8 year old son loves Way of Life Karate, loves the teacher, and is always enthusiastic to go to class two or three times a week. I particularly like the competitive but peaceful approach to karate. There is no "sweep the leg!!" here. Just good exercise, good attitudes, and respect for yourself and others. All good!
