My name is Roy McLean and, as owner and Master Head Instructor, I would like to welcome you to the Millennium Martial Arts Academy website!. Since opening our doors in 2003 to teach Tae Kwon Do, the Academy has grown by leaps and bounds. I've had the pleasure of instructing hundreds of people from all walks of life and of various ages.
I've witnessed how students develop confidence, character, and belief in themselves as they progress through each class and belt color. Most of all, I am most proud of how students learn to conduct themselves in public whenever they encounter challenges in their daily lives. The Millennium Martial Arts Academy is, first and foremost, a school.

My name is Roy McLean. I am the owner and master head instructor of the Millennium Martial Arts Academy. I have been involved with martial arts since 1973, and have been helping adults and children reach their personal and fitness goals. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you what I believe to be one of the most important investments you can make in your child's development and ultimately in his or her future.
My name is Denise Perillo. My son Michael is nine years old and has been taking Tae Kwon Do lessons with Master McLean since he was four years old with no real end in sight. Michael is now a junior black belt. I cannot say enough about Master McLean. This was without a doubt one of the best investments we could have ever made for Michael.
Unlike traditional martial arts out there, we teach a no-nonsense, combat ready and modern curriculum. You will learn how to defend yourself in all aspects of combat; Striking, Grappling and Weaponry. The techniques taught here are high percentage and are proven effective in self-defense as well as in competition.

Update from original-
I left an honest review and the owner just attacked it. Claiming my child does not go there. As I said in my original review. Can be intimidating. I’m disappointed because I do want this experience for my child and there are some nice things here.
Original-
The good and bad
+it’s a new facility, master M is kind and patient. Close to my house.
-i just don’t see anything affective in what my son is learning. Stuck paying contract even though we want to quit. Not motivating.
Your experience may vary. It was close to my house so we tried it even though there were

Both my Boys (6) & (7.5) have been taking Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts for 3+ years. They love it, and it has been very good for them. Master Roy McLean and his entire top-notch staff do an excellent job of motivating the kids and keeping them enthusiastic about the Tae Kwon Do martial arts. Both of my kids are Green & blue belts, so yes, they can defend themselves. However, they have learned so much more At Millennium Martial Arts Academy confidence, discipline, focus, respect--that help them in every aspect of their lives. It shows in their relationships with each other, their friends, teachers,
