I scheduled an appointment for me and my boyfriend to look at nipple jewelry for myself for my birthday. When it came time to look at the jewelry the person (bald with gauges) showing the jewelry made me feel so unwelcome. The person was very short and unhelpful. Acting put out when I asked basic questions about the jewelry selection and prices. The person pretty much would ignore me and only talk to my boyfriend when I was the one who the jewelry would be for. I ended up getting so uncomfortable we left very quickly and didn’t get anything. Very disappointing first time experience there.

I had a great experience getting my bridge piercing today! I was so paranoid about it not turning out straight but my piercer obviously was not going to let that happen. They spent a good amount of time making sure she got my placement right and that just really went miles with me. Im glad I chose Kolo for my piercing!

I got a neck dermal in North Carolina that started rejecting. I was so in love with my dermal! My piercing was so irritated and a bump was forming pushing the dermal out. I decided to come here and get it removed. I’m so glad I did !! It didn’t even hurt I was so surprised! I totally recommend this place for removals. Nice & clean environment and I got a same day appointment.

A horrendous experiencing. I have 12 piercings and went in to get my rook switched while my friend got her cartilage switched. Instead of using a receiving tube, they used their hands and yanked my rook and my friends cartilage for 20 minutes each. My ear and my friend’s ear are bleeding and so swollen that the earrings aren't sitting right. I would highly recommend against. Switching out a piercing should never be like that. My piercer also used her acrylic nails to scoop out dead skin around my piercing.

I got a rook piercing a month ago. When I first got it done I made it known I was concerned about how deep inside my ear it was compared to how I normally see rook piercings. I couldn’t even see it without a mirror and pulling on my ear to catch a view. I was told that it was in a normal placing. Now a month later I had to get it removed it started to keloid due to the placement and the bar being so short the balls were continuing pressing on my ear. It took two piercers to remove my piercing because of the angle and how deep in my ear the piercing was placed. They asked where I got it and were

As cautious as I am, sometimes I forget there's a pandy still going on. So when my sister and I wanted to look at BVLV earrings and found Kolo (we are both out of towners, Yelp is the best), we naturally (naturally *eyeroll* lol) thought we could just waltz right in and look at their selection. The locked door and nice sign (appointments ONLY!) told us differently.
Lucky for us the staff in Kolo were really nice and accommodating. We told them we only want to purchase some earrings and we were able to come in. We purchased threaded earrings and Kyle placed them for us. Kyle is super awesome

I'm from Cali. I like the vibe here. It kinda reminds me of the Haight. KINDA! Everyone is friendly and they have a life time guarantee on jewelry. My opal stone fell out of my nose ring and they took it back with no problem and I got another one of equal value for not extra cash. Of course if I wanted another of higher value I would pay the difference. I respect there policies around the only one person and the mask and stuff. I'll be back!

Standard practice at Kolo is to use implant grade titanium jewelry, autoclaved needles and materials, and all piercers are APP members. Gigi and Kyle have pierced me multiple times, and they're some of the nicest people I know. This is a great place to go for anyone who's getting their first piercing. Adam, the bald guy up front, can be a little intimidating, but he's not mean or anything. They did an excellent job on my rook and all of my lobe piercings. After I got my fourth lobe piercing done, I realized my third was a little out of alignment, and they repierced it for free. Great

Just rude, beyond rude I called since their website isn't listed on maps, and asked TO PURCHASE A PIERCING, they said it started at $30, mentioned nothing about needing an appointment or anything. I come they said they're appointments only that's fine but why wasn't I told this on the phone ? I said okay can I just purchase jewelry. They said no I still needed an appointment and continued to be rude. Don't waste your time there's other places. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Our 13 yo daughter got her lobes pierced here and Kyle was amazing! He was so thorough and spent time making sure she was comfortable about what he was doing. She was nervous, as she had her lobes pierced before but they got infected and closed up. Kyle was reassuring and kind and she couldn't be happier with the outcome!
The studio was clean and had all the safety precautions in place. Highly recommended!

Very Rude and Horrible customer service. Me and my wife went in for our appointment and once we arrived we were told although we are fully vaccinated that we could not enter without a mask. No problem I walked to the store bought mask for the both of us. They then tried to tell my wife I could not come in.I had to stay outside (in the rain). She then said I was the one paying for the service, but of course they responded with they could accept my card at the door. So it was acceptable to take my money but not have the common decency to allow a customer to come in.

I got my septum and helix pierced here today and I had a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and the prices were extremely reasonable. I don't know the name of the girl who pierced me but she was awesome and made me feel super comfortable. I have tried out a few piercing places but I will definitely be going back here for any future piercings I get!

So my daughter has begged me for a septum piercing for months now. We decided after calling as many places as possible and reading tons of reviews that "Gigi" would be our chick. Parents when I tell you she's amazing--SHES ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She knew my daughter was nervous, but took time to explain every single detail of every step in the process. She has a very calming vibe. She had amazing knowledge of her art and I absolutely will be excited to return for more piercings! Amazing piercing shop! Extremely sanitary, extremely professional and all-around an amazing experience from Kolo Piercing! Not only was the man who pierced me very funny, but the woman who works at the front desk gave me advice on how to style my ear with my new industrial piercing!

A day ago, one of my nipple piercings' ball-bearing came un-screwed. I called Kolo and set up an appointment the following day. Leah fit me in with no problem, although they were busy as heck as always. I decided to switch out both nipple piercings with rings/loops and move up from 14 gauges to 12 gauges. Kyle made it so effortlessly and did an phenomenal job in switching both piercings out. I'll definitely be back to shop and for any additional piercings. I highly recommend Kolo's to anyone who wants to get a first time piercing or additional ones!

My husband and I decided to get our nose piercings at the top of the new year. I had called and researched several different shops before finding on Kolo. Located in the heart of Atlanta's Little 5 Points neighborhood, there is ample street parking available and there are usually spots available if you go in the evening.

I made an appointment (it's required due to Covid guidelines) fairly fast. They did have same day appointments available and everyone that helped me was extremely nice and professional.
I got a dermal piercing by the owner (I believe). She was soooooo sweet and made me feel super comfortable. It didn't even hurt! She's really good at distracting and I could tell she was genuinely having a conversation with me and not just talking to talk.
Make sure you have a hard copy of your ID. It is definitely needed. I switch purses that day and had to drive alllllllll the way home (1

I'd had my nose pierced twice previously - once for my 30th birthday and again at age 41. Both times the holes didn't heal properly and remained irritated until I removed them. I had no reason to believe it would be different now that I'm in my 50s, but my sister had a great experience, so we made it a family outing. My mom and I got nose piercings, and my sister and daughter got additional ear piercings.

WOW! This was my first time here and it definitely will not be my last! I came here to get my nose piercing and even though I have 12 other piercings I was still so nervous! The piercer was very nice and professional and helped calm my nerves! The piercing was painless and I love the placement. 10/10 would recommend this place and will be coming back for more piercings :-)

Kolo is truly a gem. Just a little back story; I came to them about a year ago because I got a forward helix piercing at a different piercing store that wasn't doing so great. About 6 months in it was still so sore and occasionally would bleed. I came to Kolo to get a second opinion and they were immediately able to tell me why I was having issues with this piercing. It was pierced at a weird angle and the jewelry was too big. I had them take it out that day and let it heal.
I came in this time to have the forward helix done but on the opposite ear. I felt so great about my last experience
