Dr Philip Andersen is a lifelong resident of Center Point. He did his undergraduate studies at Coe College in Cedar Rapids and received his dental degree at the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. He is proud to continue the tradition of care established by his father, Dr. Kenneth Andersen, who practiced medicine in Center Point for 50 years, beginning in 1951.

Dental Implants have been used successfully for many years. The implant itself is a post that is surgically placed in the jaw. A prosthesis (artificial tooth or teeth) is then attached to the post. Dental implants involve cooperation between a specialist and our office. The surgical phase of treatment is completed by the specialist, and the restorative phase is completed at our office.

I chipped a tooth just recently my insurance had changed to VA. I called made the appointment. Upon my arrival they already had my insurance updated. They did a Exray Dr. Andersen took care of my tooth said it was a easy fix. I was numbed the tooth was filled. It feels good as new the staff was friendly and I felt I was in good hands. Was a great experience

I have never felt comfortable in a dentist office for many, many years. But I don't dread going to the dentist anymore. Everyone in the office is kind and caring. Dr Andersen is the best! I am so thankful I found him to repair my smile. He is patient and kind and determined to make sure you are satisfied. Thank you to everyone in the office!
