Services
As a therapist, I like to reach out to those who feel their life is spiraling out of control. My specialty is addressing behaviors, such as ADHD or Conduct Disorder, accepting who you are as an individual, and helping you realize you have the key to change your situation. For those who want to get their emotions under control, perhaps due to bipolar disorder or anxiety disorder, together we will work to get your life moving "straight forward."
Through therapy, we learn how current experiences can be tainted by events from long ago. By working to uncover unresolved issues from the past, we come to terms with problems we could neither face nor resolve earlier. Depression and anxiety often overwhelm those who suffer with them, causing feelings of shame, guilt and inadequacy.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you've used before, that for whatever reason isn't working right now. Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.
