St. Francis Animal Hospital has served the southwest Cleveland area, including Cuyahoga and Medina counties, for over 25 years. It is our privilege to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care for pets, recognizing the place they have in our families, our lives and our hearts. Recommendations for preventive care have evolved over the years but continue to include vaccinations, parasite control, good nutrition, spay/neuter surgery and regular examinations. There are core vaccinations which are necessary for all pets to prevent serious disease. However, the vaccination booster intervals and other vaccinations are dictated by lifestyle and risk.
At St. Francis Animal Hospital, we are able to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic ailments, We provide many levels of care: outpatient, hospitalization, intensive, long-term. Our diagnostic capabilities are comprehensive. Our investment in state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment allows us to make more rapid and confident diagnoses as well as to transmit images to a veterinary radiologist for an immediate consult.
St. Francis Animal Hospital is well-equipped and the doctors are well-trained to perform elective surgeries such as spays and neuters as well as other general, orthopedic and ophthalmic surgeries. Our doctors have a special interest in surgery and seek every opportunity to learn improved techniques and to refine their surgical skills.
Mouth pain and dental disease are often missed as causes of lowered quality of life in our pets by owners because of the slow, insidious progression of this disease and because our pets must eat despite any pain they may be experiencing. Dental procedures can be extremely difficult in veterinary patients, especially in the small mouths of cats or when the dental disease is advanced.

St Francis has been my veterinary clinic for about 10 years and every time I call or bring my dogs in for an appointment, I feel lucky to have found them. Dr. Bloze and Dr. Kwon, along with the incredible staff, have taken excellent care for my dogs and, when it was time... they helped me say goodbye to two great loves of my life. My Name is Theresa DePamphilis, Dr. Kwon and his team are amazing. Everyone is caring, thoughtful, kind, helpful, supportive and patient. I have never been to a vet that I have felt 100% comfortable with. When Dr. Kwon made a comment to me, “If Jazzy was my dog,” I again knew we found the right vet. My fur babies are my children and I as a fur baby parent want the best for them and I found that at St. Francis Animal Hospital. We're big fans of this veterinary clinic. They are always kind, non-judgemental (even for first-time dog owners like our family), and helpful. You can tell that all the staff really love animals, as they take extra time to interact with the pets, not just mechanically rushing through the exams. Additionally, they have made room in their schedule to see us on short notice at least 3 times in this first year. Prices seem pretty reasonable. Couldn't ask for more, really!

The docs and staff are amazing. They are so kind and patient with our excitable Wheaten Terrier. They explain everything very clearly and never mind repeating things or answering any questions. We would never change vets. We've been with them for a good 20 years and plan on continuing to be as long as we have a pet to take to them.
