Services
Solie Funeral home and crematory has been serving the Everett community and surrounding counties for over 80 years. In 1940, Lloyd Solie announced that a mortuary would be built at 3301 Colby Avenue in Everett, Washington. Lloyd and his father, H.J Solie, an immigrant pioneer of Everett, worked with architects Alvin Erickson and Howard Tollefson to draw plans and direct the construction.

Cremation as a disposition can be, and should be, just as personal as a burial and funeral service. Personalizing a cremation with a celebration of life can be very therapeutic. A celebration gives you and your family something to concentrate on as you relive memories. We offer many ways to personalize a service.
Today there are more options than ever on how to celebrate a life lived. Choosing burial as your final disposition allows you to have a final resting place with options to have a personal celebration. We believe that no two people are alike and no two services should be alike either. Whether or not an open casket is part of the celebration is an individual family choice.
We believe in honoring your loved one through a celebration that is personal and provides a healing experience to family and friends. Celebrations of life can be held for burial or cremation to help celebrate a life well lived. From traditional ceremonies to unique celebrations, we pride ourselves on our service helping you plan the perfect event.

My family’s experience with Solie was excellent. We worked mostly with Jon who was very patient, compassionate and professional. Everyone else we encountered here was respectful and kind as well. Thank you so much to everyone here for creating a seamless and smooth experience during such a hard time. You are appreciated.

Natalie at Solie Funeral homes made a very difficult time in my family's life a little less stressful. She went beyond what we expected from a funeral home. She was so sincere and kind. They handled every aspect of my mother's cremation. I highly recommend them.

Solie Funeral Home is now known as 'The Funeral Home' to me and to my family. They provide not only knowledge, comfort and support during these difficult times, but they are also real people. They care about the whole family. They don't want your decisions to be rushed, they know these decisions are important to you, and again they care. Thank you Solie.

I called about 5 places getting quotes and explanations on how to go about doing a funeral. Paul was the most helpful person. He was so helpful knowing I was about to call other places. The whole process and all the decisions, I felt were fairly quick and he made them pretty easy supplying me with all the documentation needed and went into needed detail to help me understand what I was doing.

They are very organized and they are caring. They know when to be in the room and when to step out. Natalie was very helpful and caring. They were very professional at all times and I would recommend to anyone looking for a professional Funeral Home and Crematory. They have a Chapel that you and your family can pray in and the place was clean and they had tissues out just very well prepared. I highly recommend this place.
