All appointment requests should be made by phone at 610 444-5884 and I will get back to you as soon as possible to schedule your request. While the cleaning and sanitizing of the massage therapy room after each appointment will still be in effect, the wearing of masks by clients is optional. At Modern Massage Works, each massage session is tailored to the client's specific needs and preferences in a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Swedish massage is primarily a muscle relaxation, stress reduction massage. It is geared toward releasing tension in muscle tissue and reducing the systemic effects of stress.
Pain can affect your life, your quality of life, and your work. In many people, pain medications can have unpleasant side effects. Considering the growing number of people reporting pain and its negative effects on quality of life, the American public has become interested in examining other methods of pain relief.
Due to a family emergency, office hours are temporarily changed. We have no idea how long this will last so for now I am requesting that all appointments be made via telephone by calling 610-444-5884, and I am scheduling mornings only. Thank you for your understanding and I will keep you informed as my schedule changes.
This is to alert your therapist of any medical issues. You will be given time and privacy to undress and get comfortable under the sheets on the massage table. Degree of undress is left to the client's personal preference. You will be covered at all times. During your massage, feel free to ask questions, converse, or just quietly relax.

Jean is amazing! I usually avoid massages because I find them painful, but Jean listened to my concerns and I had a perfect experience!! Professional, clean, and very relaxing! My husband has had plenty of massages from multiple places and he said Jean's at MMW was the best hands down! We both will continue to visit!
