Breen Realty came from a long list of Irish descendents involved in real estate including Richard's father, uncles, grandfathers & great grandfathers. Prior to his career in real estate, Richard obtained a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling & taught communications courses for 15 years. Richard turned adversity into opportunity after Cambria's 1995 flood which destroyed many downtown businesses.

We have been looking to move to the coast and a property listed by Richard Breen came on the market. Based on what we know of the area and other collateral research we did on the property, the price did not match the description, so we knew the listing was probably incorrect. However, we were still interested based on the location and certain features that we had been looking for.
I called Richard and he was extremely dismissive. He stated that listing was incorrect and I explained that we had figured that, but were still interested in learning more about the property. He kept interrupting

I can't begin to express how difficult the sale of my home was as a result of utilizing this company to sell my home...and I state this even though my home sold immediately after placing it on the market. I was so disappointed in the lack of communication, attention to detail, and professionalism. The contrast between my home sale and home purchase professionals was extreme. I would highly recommend considering another company to provide professional real estate sales/I purchasing services.

Richard Breen knows real estate. Hubby and I are both Realtors ourselves, owning our own company. When it was time to buy a vacation home in Cambria, not our area of expertise, we met many Cambrian Realtors in the journey to purchase who couldn't hold a candle to his expertise and professionalism. We bought his listing and being tough critics, Realtors being buyers, he met and surpassed our expectations.
Now it's time to sell that little vacation home and doing as all sellers should do, interviewed three agents. Richard still set the bar while others struggled to come close to reaching
