Though I'm not sure they would all admit it, our family photo sessions are now a family tradition that we all look forward to.

No fake or cheese smiles. We focus on making it a fun and real - getting the whole family playing and interacting together so your images will reflect the actual happy moments you had together. I'd much rather photograph slightly naughty kids than stiff, stressed out ones with cheesy smiles. The best sessions are when parents let go and are present in the moment with their kids.
When the whirlwind of the reunion is over, all the grandkids leave, everyone catches up on sleep, I want to make sure you have the images you need to create a beautiful gallery wall and precious albums of your memories together. No fake or cheese smiles. We focus on making it a fun and real - getting the whole family playing and interacting together so your images will reflect the actual happy moments you had together.
I recommend springtime for your photos! Senioritis is at it's peak, you're soooo excited for the future, and you have a pretty good idea where you're headed for college! No obligation to purchase additional products, although you can easily order prints right from your gallery. Taking senior pictures is a big milestone and we couldn't have been happier with Christy's professionalism and care.
These sessions are short and sweet. During my busy seasons (most of the year), I'll squeeze these sessions in between other sessions. In the winter/early spring, I'll recommend Leo Carrillo Historic Park in Carlsbad for our sessions! Family session add-ons are also available! Such a great time to include the whole family for updated photos, especially for families with future missionaries!
So many things to plan for! I'd love to take away the worry and help you have a relaxed, glowing, joyful wedding experience! I specialize in weddings at the San Diego LDS Temple, beach bridals, and beautiful golden hour outdoor receptions for joyful couples! The beach at golden hour is always amazing and the dry sand brushes off wedding clothes nicely.

Christy is such a fabulous photographer! She helped all of us and our little family to break our personal space bubble that we all seem to have. We had so much fun and she made us feel loved and special. I absolutely love the photographs. She was able to create moments of joy that I can look on for the rest of my life with so much happiness. We have used Christy twice for our family pictures and have been so happy with the whole experience both times. She was available to answer questions every step of the way. She came out to our home to scout out locations for photos before the shoot. She helped me with clothing choices. She was SO GOOD at getting my youngest son to relax and give a natural pose and style. The photos turned out amazing. She has a talent for capturing light. I highly recommend her to everyone.

Words can't describe how grateful I am for Christy and the talent she has! She is THE most patient and fun photographer - and captured my toddler in between tantrums yet you'd never know that by looking at the genuine smiles she got out of him! She has such a peaceful presence and makes you feel so comfortable in her presence - even if being in… front of the camera isn't your thing. Our final images are incredible and proudly displayed in our home , but the experience behind those captured moments is one that we will always cherish because of Christy!
