Your child will be able to practice their listnening skills to develop better self-control, discipline, and values. Hand-eye coordination is important in your child's early development. Martial arts provided plenty of opportunities to improve fine motor skills through techniques, obstacles, drills, and challenges.

Kids experience partner and team-oriented situations in class that helps develop strong communication skills. Goal-setting is an important skill for all kids to learn. Martial arts teaches both short-term and long-term goal setting in a fun and positive environment. Classes are taught under the direction of Master Absher, 8th Degree Black Belt, who is also a retired Police Officer.

My daughter just started and so far it’s ok. The instructors could be more patient and they make it clear that if you have small kids who are talking to take them out side while ladies at the table talk the entire class!!! They don’t even whisper. Rude and distractive.

My 13-year-old daughter has only been going to karate lessons here for a short time (a few months), but our experience has been great so far! At her first lesson, she cried and the teenage instructor was amazing with her. I cannot say enough good things about all of her instructors! I’ve read some of the other reviews and they confused me. Disorganized? Absolutely not! In fact, the instructors teach the kids to be disciplined and to follow instructions. The instructors follow lesson plans each week, so the lessons are incredibly structured. If you have younger children, it is best to keep them

Son has never been involved in the martial arts before and was warmly welcomed. Would completely recommend the Order of the Dragon school for anyone.

My mom purchased a 3month membership for my son to attend Order of the Dragon. I'm an oilfield wife and my husband works out of state half the month, therefore I have to haul our 5 year old and 10mos children around solo while he's gone. Two weeks ago, I took my oldest to karate class with the baby in toe. My infant is very happy and never a bother. During class, the baby squeeled with happiness while playing with his toy. the teenage instructor shushed him, it happened again and she shushed him again while staring at me. Let me just say that during this class, several parents were walking around

My teenage daughter was jumped at school last year. Her grades suffered, along with her self-esteem. Since joining Order of the Dragon, she has her confidence back where she use to live in fear, her grades that were failing are now back where they use to be and she has made some great friends. The students help each other. The older students help the younger ones.
My daughter walks with smiles and singing, which she hasn't done since the being jumped.
Master Absher is a no nonsense teacher some may see that is rough but you can tell he care for his students. He encouraged my daughter to be the

We attended a karate class at the community center just to watch and see if my cousin wanted to join the class. He didn't. The board breaking looked like fun and the kids seemed to be enjoying themselves but overall the class seemed a little disorganized (it happens when your working with kids) The rating above is only from observing one single class and my initial impressions.

Bradley, since you have never ever been a member of Order of the Dragon, I'm curious. Which competitor do you belong too? Brand new memberships, year to date, for Order of the Dragon is already over 200 new students. Obviously we are doing something right which is why we've been in business for over 23 years.
