A new, higher bridge, permitting passage without a bascule bridge (drawbridge) of tall boats and sailboats, was completed in late 2007. Welcome to Cip's Place, named for long time Islander Jimmy Cipriani. He was a common sense, down to earth man who always had a story to share, a cause to support and most importantly an invitation to lunch or dinner. Jimmy always made time for good conversation, good company and great food. We wanted to make this restaurant exactly the kind of place that Jimmy would want to go to.
Grilled flatbread topped with peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Our buttermilk chicken wings served with wing sauce and your choice of ranch or bleu cheese. Seasonal mix of greens with cucumber, tomatoes, black olives, kalamata olives, red onions, pepperoncini peppers and feta cheese.

Wonderful experience each time my family has dined at Cips over many years. Always wonderful friendly staff and the food is delicious and worth every penny. The outdoor and garden seating feels very safe during covid and service is still great, they also have propane heaters so you can dine outside when it's cool. Good for families and groups of any size. Really can't go wrong here ❤️

You cannot beat the early bird special here. They have a deal that is called 5 at 5. Five dishes (including salmon and buttermilk chicken shown here) and 3 others for $12 ($15 with tip). For the amount and quality, you cannot beat it. Go at 4 PM, they have the special from 3-5 PM, eat on the back outside, beautiful view. Highly recommend for quality and price!

This place is fabulous! We had the Truffle French Fries for appetizer, YUM. The flavor was delicious. My husband had the buttermilk chicken, and it was amazing, so was the scalloped potatoes. I had the Enchilada Stack, it came with black beans and rice, I had them leave off the sauce because I'm a wimp! It was VERY good. Our server was Medina, and she is the BEST, very attentive, we didn't have to ask for anything. A Plus plus plus. Will go back.

We rate restaurants on ambiance, service and food/drinks. First, the ambiance was lacking which was disappointing because the outside are is absolutely beautiful (we sat inside due to heat). No music (or very low) and it felt dark inside the restaurant. It felt like at times they were understaffed as we had to wait for things to be delivered. However our waitress was very nice! The food was a solid 3+... And we ate it all. We got a shrimp pasta and the fried chicken. Overall, we give it a 3.

Very family oriented. Beautiful and elegant but at the same time with a relaxed ambiance. Perfect to visit with family. There are rabbits around to spot and have find while waiting for food to come. Service and food are amazing. They offered fresh bread pretzel like which was delicious. I highly recommend the bbq ribs. Clam chowder has a quite different taste than the original, a bit sour but very interesting and original. Definitely looking forward to visit this place again when visiting Sanibel Island.

What a great place! We met a couple of friends for dinner last night and we had a great meal and a great time! Our friends had the triple tail fresh catch special and they both devoured it and the fresh clipped green beans that came with it! My beautiful wife had the enchilada stack that had just the right heat and was amazing and she cleaned her plate! As for me, I had the Rigatoni Bologenese with sausage, beef and bacon in a creamy tomato Bologenese sauce and the sunset shrimp appetizer! The shrimp was in a red sauce that had just the right amount of heat to it and it was a generous portion!
