Very overpriced. I had braids put in and it cost me $400. My mistake for not researching, just trusting. After researching the area including San Diego and Los Angeles the average price for braids is about $150. My braids kept coming undone. And you could see my hair through it. Please research other salons before going here

I have been coming here for years and have always had amazing service. Tsega is not only knowledgeable in her craft, but she truly makes you feel so comfortable and listens to your needs and wants. She is extremely talented and I can't say enough good things about her and her staff. My family loved my hair so much my mother and her mother-in-law started to become her regular clients as well. If you are looking for someone to get your hair healthy and teach you how to properly take care of it, look no further.

They don't allow you to choose the stylist that does the best work on your hair. Even if you tell them that a particular stylist has damaged your hair. A lot of staffing issues going on that shouldn't involve the customers.
Tsega does an excellent job on weaves and braids. Samantha does a great job with coloring, weaves and blowouts.

Yes, I have gone here before and they do a beautiful job with your hair. In my experience, possibly the best. However the issue is pricing. They quoted me one price, but when all was said and done the price went up significantly because my hair had grown an inch so that was more “ work “. The husband got involved and it was two against one. I will never, ever, ever forget that day. I was cornered as a customer to pay a price that was not even listed anywhere. I will never go back. In my eyes, they scammed me.

I searched high and low for a salon that specializes in ethnic hair. When I found Tsega, it was a relief. I moved from Orange County and needed a convenient location in this area. I received exceptional and courteous service. This salon is clean, comfortable and professional. I always get color and a relaxer. For the FIRST time EVER, I have not had any breakage or damage from these two chemical processes. Over the years, I have driven upwards of 90 minutes to go to my stylist because I valued their services. I even drove back to the OC to my old stylist, before I found Tsega. I stopped

I took my daughter to Tsega Salon for the first time yesterday on a recommendation from a friend. My daughter has long, thick natural hair and is extremely tender-headed. Tsega + Tess were so nice and welcoming. The salon was super clean + comfortable. There was no inappropriate salon talk (my daughter is 15). They had an array of snacks + beverages for us while we waited. Tess washed, deep conditioned + blow drIed my daughters hair and she didn't complain one bit. He was so gentle and through with her and I didn't even mention to anyone that she was extremely tender-headed. Tsega pressed

I have been searching for a hair salon that does natural hair services and I finally found one after living here for a couple of years! It's such a welcoming environment everyone is on the same page and gives great service. Tsega did my hair not only did she do an amazing job but she took the time to explain how to do certain things to help my natural hair and recommended great products for my hair!!

Tsega's comments on my prior review, wherein I stated the staff was nice, but didn't agree with the pricing or lack of consultation--has resulted in a reduction to a 1 star rating. It is a sign of the true character of the individual, e.g. stylist or other professional who decides to defensively attack an unhappy customer rather than remedy or explain the issue. Skewing details such as me waiting and reading while other clients were being tended to and then revealing other intimate details of my service to detract from the factual experience I had...well it speaks volumes! I had beautiful hair before going to this salon. I was new to the area and just wanted a local stylist could trust. I had hair to my shoulders and I wanted to grow it out. After visiting the website I thought I would give them a try. Boy, was I suckered. I told her I wanted to grow my hair out, she said in order for it to grow out the fastest I should get a weave. I spent $400+, while the weave looked really pretty, over the next few days I was so uncomfortable because it was so tight. She told me that was normal, a week later I called again. She continued to say that it was normal. I broke out
