Seal air leaks and add insulation - paying special attention to your attic and basement, where the biggest gaps and cracks are often found.
Heating and cooling your home uses more energy and costs more money than any other system in your home -- typically making up about 54% of your utility bill. No matter what kind of heating and cooling system you have in your house, you can save money and increase your comfort by properly maintaining and upgrading your equipment.

I had purchased a 1,800 SF single family house in Sierra Madre that came with a 35+ year old heating and air conditioning system which needed to be properly evaluated and possibly replaced. After discovering that the American Home Shield home warranty policy that my seller had purchased for me was worthless, I screened HVAC service companies and called a couple. The first furnace company was helpful ($39 service fee), but did not put their conclusions in writing and because I had contacted them through Home Depot (a mistake on my part) they were required to add a 25% referral fee to Home Depot

FIVE STARS! We are so happy we called Access. They installed 2 heating and air conditioning units last week. Rod came to our house and explained the different choices we had and answered all our questions. He made it easy to decide on the best unit for us. Francisco, Mario and Edwin did the installation. They were professional, knowledgeable, hard working and friendly. After the installation was done they taught us how to use the new thermostats and answered our questions thoroughly. The units are so quiet we can’t believe they are running. Thank you to a great company.
