Our hands-on preschool programs allows children to learn through experimentation. As children explore their environment, self-learning occurs in a natural and spontaneous way. We believe it is equally important to create a safe and caring environment, where each child is respected as an unique individual and encouraged to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.

Mudpies & Lullabies Preschool was established in 1996 by owner Anne Williams. Prior to beginning Mudpies, Anne taught as an elementary school teacher in both the Puget Sound and Vancouver, WA areas for eleven years. Today, Mudpies has grown into what we feel to be one of Central Oregon's preeminent educators of young children ages 3-5.

The Pre-K program offers a wide variety of exciting opportunities and challenges designed to meet the needs of children who will be entering kindergarten. Learning becomes more individualized when students are encouraged to work in the areas of the classroom that interest them most. In this class we will help students develop confidence in the areas of reading, writing, and math readiness.
