Horton Tank Graphics is dedicated to continuing the tradition of fine letterpress printing. Horton Tank exemplifies this tradition in the high quality of the work done for our clients, in the use of the best traditional practices, and in the training of the next generation of letterpress printers. Services include custom letterpress printing, project management, and teaching.
Horton Tank Graphics was established by Arthur Larson in 1987, primarily to print fine press books for Leonard Baskin's Gehenna Press. Thirty books were printed for the Press from 1987 to 2005. Art has printed for many prominent artists and publishers over the years. Much of the work has been for small private presses, especially Barry Moser's Pennyroyal Press and Michael Kuch's Double Elephant Press.

Services
Horton Tank Graphics was established in 1987 by Art Larson to do fine press, limited edition book printing. The shop is also well equipped for long-run commercial printing. I began my printing career in 1979, working with Harold McGrath and Barry Moser at The Hampshire Typothetae in Northampton, Massachusetts.
In addition to providing a full range of printing services, Horton Tank Graphics offers production supervision. We can coordinate the work of tasks such as design, composition, proofing, mixing inks, locking up formes, and handling paper. Production supervision has also included managing workers hired to collate, dry-mount, and trim prints.
