Almost every image you see here on our website was shot on our specially landscaped property. But if you need to be photographed at a place special to you the client, we can travel. So we can photograph your portrait session at almost any place. It could be your home, a park, the beach, a business, or other location.
As portrait photography artists, we are always looking to do something a little different, and so we welcome client input to make your session a collaboration between you and us. So when possible, we always do a complimentary pre-session consultation. This also affords children the chance to meet us before the session, so we are "old friends" by the time they arrive at our studio for a family's portrait session.

Services
We are the husband and wife team of Don & Kathy Nealious. I'm originally from NY state and have lived in WA since 1970. Kathy is a WA native. We've been in business 16 years, specializing in custom portraits for families, children, seniors, pets, models, bridals, and business head-shots. Our studio/gallery is located in the Eastmont area of Everett, but we serve Snohomish County, Seattle, the East side, and all of King County.
When we meet a new client, we try to imagine a different way to photograph them. Do they have a style that looks like it could fit in another era? We could go retro with just a few adjustments. We often have new ideas we want to try. We just need someone willing to do something outside the box (but never anything that would make them feel uncomfortable).

At DNI Photography we specialize in headshots and portfolio images for entertainers that do just that. Our goal is to make images that get you noticed, make you money and to have an awesome time while doing it.
Our Business Photography are designed to fit the image you want to project, whether it be formal or casual. To allow the staff to keep working, most of our clients opt to have us setup headshot sessions in their own office. Once setup, it only takes 5-10 minutes for each subject. Most are smiling because it goes much more quickly than they had imagined.
Doing Children's Portraits is often full of surprises. You can not always predict what direction the session will take. Some kids are almost always silly, especially when in a strange place (like a photo studio). We keep clicking away until we have quality images from each family grouping.
If a little one needs a feeding, has a "meltdown", or some other emergency, we will either hit the pause button, or photograph other family members until things get better.If one of the family members is ill we will just reschedule. We photograph real people, and stuff just happens to real people. We like to reserve Saturday morning Children's Portraits for those with little ones, because that's when they are at their best.

DNI did a great job on our family pictures. I never had much of a desire to have "professional" pictures taken as an adult. I thought the experience would be like experiences I had as a kid getting family pictures. When our first child was turning one it help me get over my hesitancy. We arranged for a session with DNI. Don and Kathy not only took some great pictures but they made the experience fun for our family. They got so many great shots that we ordered enough pictures to fill our hallway! DNI did an excellent job on our family portraits. Photo session was warm and friendly, yet totally professional. Selection of photo was the only difficult part of the process.
