My name is Brea Bursch and I'd love to share a little about myself so we can get acquainted. In the spring of 2008, I picked up a DSLR camera for the first time. My very first baby was a few months old and, friend, he was changing so fast. Pregnancy prepares you for nursing and carseats and colic, but nothing really prepares a new mother's heart for how fast, yet painfully slow, time starts to go.
This studio space has been home base for Brea since she opened it in 2012. Client's delight in the beautiful, bright, and airy space which has been designed for your comfort. The Trestle Loft is a loft style studio on the second floor of a historic downtown Everett building. At the studio, we enjoy plentiful light with several over sized windows and lofty ceilings.
After over a decade in the portrait business, I've streamlined the portrait session booking process to make it easy and seamless for my clients. I know how valuable your time is so let's make this simple. There is no requirement for an in-person meet and greet or phone call. You have full access to all pricing information, can sign the portrait contract online, and pay the session retainer online as well.
Newborn sessions with Brea begin at $999. All sessions are FULLY INCLUSIVE and include 25+ fully retouched digital images and reproduction rights. One price gets you everything! Brea prefers to see newborns in studio within the first 2-3 weeks of life to capture your baby at their newest, curliest, and sleepiest.
After 12+ years in the business, Brea is a proven local industry leader. She operates a large, commercial loft studio designed for your comfort and the ultimate in efficiency. Brea prefers to see expecting mama's in studio when they feel ready for photos. However Brea recommends holding your session anywhere from 4-6 weeks prior to your due date.

Brea has been doing our maternity, birth, newborn, and family photos since our son was born six years ago (and we’ve added a few more kids to the family since then). She produces exceptionally high-quality work, she delivers previews and the final product quickly, she’s always up for an adventurous location and she is fun to work with, she is creative, and she does so well with kids!

Brea has been photographing our family since I was pregnant. From maternity, to new born, to a huge family photo shoot, Brea has been incredible. In December, when she is usually of with her family, she made the time to photograph my family that was in town from Florida. These photos became extra special as my mom passed just 2 months later. Having the photos of my mom with all of her grandsons is truly priceless. There is no one I would recommend more. She is kind, professional and pretty dang funny. know we will be clients for life and can't wait for our next shoot.

Brea made me feel so comfortable at our outdoor maternity session. I laughed and posed and felt like a goddess - not something I was used to feeling at the end of a long and uncomfortable pregnancy. We had such a good time and she was awesome with entertaining my toddler. We then booked a newborn session for her studio. She has everything you could need and again did all the work - posing, directing, changing swaddles, even giving our newborn a bottle I think? I was newly postpartum, hard to recall! I’m so glad we captured these special moments.

There is just something that Brea has when she photographs the most precious things to you! She takes the time and understands what you have a vision for and then completely transforms that vision into a reality. My boys had their first experience with Brea while we were living in Everett and they are still the most treasured photos of my little (well not anymore) guys!!!

Brea was wonderful to work with and her images absolutely captured our family. I found her after a friend used her for Christmas photos, and we will be back! I am not usually a fan of studio work, but her images were so alive, so real and just wonderful. Her space is light and airy. We highly recommend her.

I found Brea after the birth of our first kid. I was late to the game to schedule newborn photos but Brea worked us in and captured some beautiful photos of our little guy. I remember being in her studio thinking "I wish I could be friends with this lady! Shes so honest and fun!". She was incredible, laid back and took the stress of being a first time with her baby out of the house for the first time, super easy. Very unfortunate photographer experience- I would not recommend Brea for any first time mom's looking for maternity photos. I'll start off the review by mentioning that Brea was actually pleasant to work with leading up to and during our photo shoot- however, once I received the email outlining her pricing post photo shoot it all went downhill. During a follow up phone conversation after our shoot, Brea explained to me that her goal is to make $1,400 per session off of a client and never once was she up front about that during the booking process.
