For over 80 years, the Haskins Automotive Service Department has provided unsurpassed service in the greater Wellesley area. Our certified ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) technicians work with the most up-to-date diagnostic and repair equipment available. As a result, we have professional service technicians, many of whom have worked at Haskins for decades.
The prices are as good as I've seen anywhere else and I've never had a go back to have a mistake fixed. They are very personable and helpful without being pushy for unnecessary fixes. I don't go anywhere else anymore.

I took my car to Haskins following an unfortunate and costly accident at the recommendation of my insurance company and others. I could not have been put into better hands!! A rental car was arranged, I was given daily progress updates, and the car was completed looking as new and driving as safely and smoothly as my 14 year workhorse ever could!!
Work quality is outstanding and kind, courteous and professional customer service is exceptional!!
Hopefully never again as a result of an accident, but I will certainly be using Haskins for my automotive needs! Thank you Rob and everyone at Haskins

Very happy to have my car back! Haskins did a wonderful job repairing my bumper from when I was rear ended this fall & they were great to work with. My car now looks much younger than almost 10 yrs old. Will certainly use Haskins again! This was the second time I used them.

From start to finish, I was so impressed by the high level of customer service delivered by every single member of the staff I talked to at different points over the course of having my vehicle repaired after being rear-ended. I have returned to Haskins again--- for tires, an alignment and a state inspection. After my last interaction it was logical for me to choose them to replace tires on my other car--- how could I go to anyone else? For this interaction, in some way, they exceeded my expectation. Let me explain.

I went to Haskins Automotive for my annual car inspection. The service was great! The building was very clean, and the people were friendly. They gave me an accurate estimate of how long it would take. It was a nice clear day, so I went out walking toward Wellesley Square as I waited. They called me when it was done, and all the paperwork was in the car. I was very happy with the experience.

1) My front bumper needed repair so I ended up here via Geico recommendation, as they are a preferred vendor. After a few days and some phone calls, the regular cadence of emails, follow up calls, and confirmations, my car was ready to pick up and that process went smoothly
While I was at the counter, paying my deductible, the shop mentioned To me that my car had gone through the 27-point inspection and it was in need of a new battery. They told me about the different types they carry, that they could install it that morning or afternoon

Echoing the others who've said they were scammed by Haskins. They tried to charge me almost $1300 for unnecessary repairs. I took it to another place after family members told me Haskins must be crazy charging me that much for the repairs they claimed I needed. The new place said Haskins had completely misdiagnosed the problem and the actual repairs needed would only cost $225. They said Haskins was probably trying to get me to overhaul the exhaust system even though I didn't need to. This would be after I'd told them my car was old and I didn't want to do extensive work on

I stopped in to get an emissions check on 10/30 in the morning and the guy behind the counter ignored me at first then asked if I needed an inspection. I told him yes and he said I'd need to come back at 1. I asked him if there was a waiting list and he shook his head and told

I got a flat tire and my AAA membership recommended them so i had my car towed there. Peter who works in that service shop told me that my tire could not be patched and not only did i need 2 tires but he told me that my car needed all 4 tires.. my car only had 12,000 miles on it and I've only had it for 6 months. They told me it was going to cost 1700. I had my car towed to direct tire in Watertown. They patched my tire !! Don't go here! They will rip you off

Brought my Scion 2011 XB in to replace the bumper after a rear-ended accident.
I had bad experience with Auto Body shop so I was skeptical at first but I chose to go there as it was near my house and had been in business for years. They had to get approval from the insurance for the extra work to be done. At the end, it took less than a week to complete the job.
Most importantly, the color of rear bumper blended very well with the body and you could hardly tell that it was a replacement.
The staff are mostly friendly.

I went to Haskins right before a cross country road trip and was told I needed to pay $1500 on repairs, including a $200 battery, $100 for cabin and engine air filters, $600 for new tires, and a whopping $700+ for a water pump and coolant fluid. They used tons of scare tactics, telling me that my car was going to break down on the side of the road, my engine was going to be ruined, etc. I left the shop and got second opinions from other car shops and all of them told me that I was being scammed. I got a battery for half as much (plus install) and both air filters for only 20 dollars at the AutoZone

We brought our 2013 Lexus RX 350 to Haskins Automotive in Wellesley due to a fender bender we had which took out rear bumper. Rob Haskins and the people there could not have been nicer, more professional and courteous. They explained exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take. Their workmanship is absolutely superb. As a "car guy," I worried about matching the 3 stage paint we have on the vehicle. They matched it precisely! I could not tell the bumper had been replaced and painted. They really take pride in their work and it shows. I would not hesitate to bring my car there

I recently needed some relatively minor auto body work. They kept the car two weeks and did not even start working on it during the first week. Many phone calls, none returned. Then, on the day the car was ready, they told me they found some repair issues that needed attention. If this had been mentioned a week earlier, it would have been much more helpful. To top it off, none of the repair issues they raised were actually necessary.
Their hours are limited, their approach nonprofessional. I would not recommend them.

We definitely prefer going to Haskins than to a dealership, where you're just another number.
Our repair took slightly longer than quoted (Mon v. Fri.), but we were happy with the work. (They repaired what was wrong in one visit, while our dealership did several thousand dollars worth of work and never fixed the original problem.)
We dealt with Rob, Eric, and another gentleman, and all were friendly and professional. Rob in particular went the extra mile, staying open an extra hour, in a snowstorm (!) so I could return a rental that day. Very impressed.

EVERYONE i talked to here was incredibly helpful and friendly- especially Tim, my service advisor.
I brought my car in for a starter replacement. Since my car is over 20 years old, there were a couple other problems keeping it from starting properly. The folks at Haskins went above and beyond to help me fix my car. Now it's running better than ever!
EXCELLLENT customer service, great work, and fair prices too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Some people say I have bad luck. Others suggest my aura is negative and I send bad vibration waves to people, thus incurring misfortune. Regardless, my car was sideswiped in a hit and run, while I was sleeping, because I was home sick. The smallest violin in the world played for me. But, I digress.
I brought my baby here, since they came highly recommended by my insurance agency and guaranteed the job within three days.
5 days, $600, and a lot of aggravation caused by Eric, the phone attendant and potential serial killer
