Coastal Roots Salon is a family of experienced and talented haircare professionals owned and led by Lynn and Todd Osborne. Lynn Osborne has been making people look and feel good as a professional stylist for over 25 years. I was raised as a 'military brat' in San Diego, California. I grew up watching my aunt work her magic behind a salon chair.
I was born in Georgia and raised in California. My love for hair and the beauty industry began very young. My grandmother was a hairstylist and I loved watching her work her magic. It quickly became second nature to me, and I have been doing hair since 2008. I specialize in color, balayage, fashion colors, cuts, styles and a number of different types of extensions.
As a stylist of seven years, I have found my true talents in hair coloring techniques of all kinds, such as balayage, color melting, vivid colors and grey coverage. Nothing is off limits; I love to be challenged! I am always furthering my education to keep my clients styling and up to date on the latest trends.
Hello my name is Wendy Payne. I went to the Center for Science and Technology for cosmetology school and I've now been doing hair since 2009. I specialize in hair on all ends of the spectrum, from balayages, freehand painting, and Dimensional coloring, to perm/texture waves - or even just a simple trim.
I've been doing hair for 21 years. I started when I was a child playing with barbies and cutting their hair into asymmetrical styles. I would also give my friends the cuts their parents would not allow them to get done in the salon. I started my professional hair styling career in high school and have been loving it ever since!

Great spot with an updated modern look and feel. Clean, well maintained, and professional looking stylist. Everyone seemed kind and welcoming. As busy as the staff and business were, they flexed to me as a first-time walk-in customer. Jessica was my stylist and was kind, personable, and professional. I loved the outcome and style of her haircut. I'll return and ask for Jessica at my next appointment. Highly recommended. 😁

Incredibly disappointed in the services I received and the response from management when I addressed my issue with them. I found the stylist Katrina through a basic Google search because her profile touts being talented with vivid colors. When I went in I was really specific about what I wanted, with pictures. I've been dying my hair for two decades and realize sometimes it is a process to ensure healthy hair, over the course of several sessions, but this was not something that was mentioned. Coastal Roots is where myself and my kids have been going for the past few years. Jessy is our hair dresser and we love her! She made my youngest feel very comfortable in the beginning and now he won’t trust anyone else to cut his hair. The salon has a spacious open concept and they recently expanded into the space next door. I recommend them to all of my friends

I saw Beth today as a walk in. She got to me right away. Had a very nice conversation with her and another stylist, Ally I think was her name. Beth did a great job on my hair I couldn’t be happier. The salon itself is beautiful and cozy and everyone was so friendly. Definitely found my go to in Chesapeake!
