Attorney Janine Gawryl graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 1977, and was admitted to practice in the New Hampshire State Courts and the U S District Court that same year. Upon graduation, she worked for the New Hampshire Bar Association. She began private practice in litigation in 1983.
Attorney MacAllister (Joe) served in the US Navy after completing studies at the US Naval Academy in 1976. Thereafter he attended University of NH Law School (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center). Joe began his law practice in 1985 with the firm of Richards Gawryl and MacAllister before establishing the firm of Gawryl & MacAllister (later Gawryl MacAllister & O'Connor) in 1995.

I worked with Janine Gawryl and she was completely rude. Went to her to get help getting on disability and she made me out to be someone that was faking and suggested that I get a job. She needs to learn to communicate better with her clients and be more respectful. I do not suggest using her if you have a disability and you are looking for help because she will just make you feel worse about yourself.

The lawyer I met with was very late to our appointment so half of the allotted time ended up being via telephone. When she did arrive to speak in person, I got the distinct impression she really wasn't tuned in to what I was saying. In a nutshell, I left feeling as though I'd been dismissed and unheard. It was a waste of my time and energy.

I hired Joseph MacAllister to handle my divorce. He did an excellent job and kept everything in perspective.
Divorce is never easy, but Attorney MacAllister made my divorce less stressful by focusing on the important issues. While the other parties attorney spent time and money with unimportant issues, Attny MacAllister recognized what needed to be done and did it.
He was non judgemental and transparent during the whole process. The outcome was in my favor and I feel we were successful.
