One of the Questions that we ask our customers is whether they really need a new roof. Because of the cost of a new roof, customers are naturally interested in whether less costly repairs can be undertaken to fix the structural integrity of the roof.

So long as the tiles do not become cracked and the roofing structure itself is done well, Clay tile roofs can last for many years. While clay tiles start out as individual tiles, once installed on a roof, they become part of a single integrated roof structure. Like a chain, the integrity of a roof structure is only as strong as its weakest point.
In Tucson, a significant number of houses are built in the Santa Fe style with Flat roofs. These roofs are made with a paintable surface, which must be re-coated periodically. There are a several different colors of roof coating that are available, including white, tan, desert tan and aluminum coating.
In Tucson, most flat roofs will have a slight pitch to them so that they will be directed to drains. This slope is so that water will drain toward and off of the roof edges, it will then be directed by drain pipes. If there is not a sufficient slope, it will instead form a pool on top of a roof that can lead to significant damage.

First time having a roof replaced and I had concerns and questions throughout this process that would test the patience of anyone. There was an issue that was not even related to work they had done and Dave came over to check it out and marked the spots on the A/C duct that was causing the leak. This was above and beyond what was expected. Scott and the rest of the team worked hard to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction. Thank you.
