The great google reviews are no fire.
I had my first trip earlier this year to fix my loose engagement ring.Seybold Jewelry Building was busy with other customers, but he made the time to fix it at no charge. Before coming there, I was frustrated because Simayof (Union St., Marina) supposedly fixed it, but it became loose again after a few days. Good thing Rafi was there to save the day.

The building itself is a classic. The stores on the first floor are somewhat intimidating with all the bling. Def nice to look at the window displays but surely make me feel like I could not afford anything I saw. However, the vendor I went to see did not have what I wanted but then walked me over to another vendor on another floor to introduce me to one who did.

I LOVE my watch so much. It's such a timeless piece and looks so good with everything I wear. I'm really glad I went through Alexandra to get it. I got a great deal on this "forever" piece that I will have for the rest of my life. She has the coolest stuff. I've been coming to the iconic Seybold building for many years & I wouldn't buy Jewelry or watches anywhere else. The selection is outstanding with fair prices. There is valet parking or parking lots very close if you don't want to valet, armed security at all times and people are always very friendly.

The building itself is historic, dating back to the 1920's.
You will, without doubt, see the largest inventory out side if NYC.
There are over 100 stores and this competition drives prices down resulting in great prices. Diamonds, Watches, Appraisal Services, Gold Buyers, Repairs to Jewelry and Watches.
There is also convenient valet parking that some of the stores will validate for you.
The building itself is historic, dating back to the 1920's.

The Seybold Building: A Place of Nightmares
This is literally the unhappiest place on earth.
For some reason, the entire patch of concrete this building resides on is home to the largest community of mentally unstable homeless people I've ever encountered. They sit along the sidewalk and yell both at you and themselves as you walk by, making every trip to the Seybold more frightening than the last. The strong smell of urine decorating the outer walls is a nice addition too.
The parking is particularly horrible, and the worst I've seen in downtown. Whether you are in for 20 seconds
