Corbin & McMahan was started in 1978 by Jim Corbin and Bob McMahan. The two had worked together for many years at another local company with Jim as a gutter and duct installer and Bob as service manager. The company was originally started to provide Macon and surrounding counties with quality installation of heating and air equipment and duct work as well as guttering.
Around 1989, the team made the decision to drop guttering all together and do just one thing and do it well. In 1998, Jim Corbin became sick and had to take a leave of absence. Later, his shares were purchased by Mr. McMahan and the company today is run by Mr. McMahan and his sons Gary and Tim with a crew larger than they have ever had before.

The technician came out and, unbeknownst to him I have just under two decades of contractor experience, he took the time to check the unit and duct system, informed me of what he was doing with each step, and had the heart of a teacher, making sure as the customer that I was aware of what was going on with each step.

These are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Bob & Tim were very prompt in coming out to give us an estimate and we immediately felt that these were some people we could trust and wanted to do business with. They gave us a fair price so we immediately scheduled our installation with them. Our installers, Mark & Ethan, were very professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs HVAC work done. We are Corbin and McMahan customers for life!!

We just had a whole house air conditioning (heat pump) with back up gas system put in. These are some of finest people we have worked with. We got a quick estimate with installation starting as soon as the system came in. All work men were hard working and very good at their jobs. They even vacuumed my basement before they left!!! I believe they deserve more than 5 stars!!
