Hospitality Homes
Tenleigh Stokes was born 8 weeks premature in 2012. She had multiple bone deformations, including missing ribs, scoliosis, and an abnormally small chest wall. She was eventually diagnosed with Thoracic Insufficiency Syndrome, a rare condition that affects less than 4,000 children in the U.S. Hospitality Homes takes away a major burden.

Without their support, we would be worried about how to find somewhere safe and affordable to stay. And they make Boston feel like home while we are away from home because they take care of you while you're there, too, says Tenleigh's mom, Haylee.

While you focus on getting well, we focus on finding you and your caregivers somewhere warm, welcoming and safe to stay during your visit. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA)- The website of the "T" provides maps and schedules for Boston-area public transportation. The Healthcare Hospitality Network, Inc. (HHN) is a nationwide professional association of nearly 200 unique, nonprofit organizations that provide lodging and support services to patients, families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities.
We're always recruiting new hosts, but that's not the only way to help patients and their families. Hospitality Homes relies on donor support to make housing matches and foster a community of hosts. Thank you for providing support to families with critical medical needs. When your patient needs to come to Boston for medical treatment and visits, we are an essential part of the patient's journey: We find them a place to stay.
Ensure your patients have a safe and comfortable place to stay. At Hospitality Homes, we match out-of-town patients and caregivers with a volunteer host home or, in special circumstances, a donated apartment. Refer patients to us and help them avoid the stress of figuring out where to stay and how to pay for it.

Emma, of Hospitality Homes, helped us immeasurably. My brother had gone to Brigham and Women's Hospital from California for a planned 5 day stay related to eye surgery. During the preop we discovered he has serious heart valves problems- he was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit immediately. Our planned 5 day stay turned into 18 days! Emma found a way to provide housing for us both for the entire time....she was cheerful, so helpful, and just made us feel she couldn't do enough to help. What a great organization. What a great person!

For a year we have been traveling over 650 miles: 2- 3 times a month to see my husbands specialized medical team in Boston. We have been trying to figure out a more economic way to stay over night than using a hotel! We are so glad that we found out about Hospitality Homes~! It was great to be able to start the application on line - and the staff has been so supportive and helpful. It is nice to have one area in our life that we don't have to worry about. Denise has made us feel so welcomed and supported.

Thank you Hospitality Homes for all the work you are doing for family's just

This is really an amazing organization. When we were meeting with the team planning my dad's surgery for mesothelioma, they told us about Hospitality Homes. My parents need to stay in the Boston area for at least a month after my dad's surgery. Since none of us have a home in the area, this was going to make it difficult for us to help our parents while my dad recovered from his surgery. HH set me up with a wonderful family that was able to host me for 3 nights. Their home was a short walk from the hospital and it was really nice for me to be so close to my parents. I can't
