Mist collection equipment can be installed individually on CNC, automatic or manual machines. Depending on your needs multiple machines may also be hooked up to one mist collector. Depending on size and type, mist collectors may be mounted to the machine tool, to a column or wall, hung from the ceiling, mounted on floor pedestals or remotely mounted.
The patented ELIMINATOR will prefilter up to 90% of the mist drawn through your ductwork prior to entering your mist collector. This reduces maintenance and extends filter life. Additional cost savings are realized by returning more coolant to your machine sump for reuse. There are no filters to replace and no parts that will wear out.
We had a continuing mist problem in our plant generated by our machining operations. We tried venting some machines to the outside. This didn't solve our problem and cost us money in lost coolant. We chose the STEALTH Mist Collection System for a test on our worst offending machine, a large Mazak CNC lathe that was only partially enclosed.
